The waning years have not been kind to the fabled friendship of Ponyville. While Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity have settled for a meager life around town, Princess Twilight is secluded in Canterlot with royal business. Rainbow Dash has all but neglected her duties to frolic about Equestria with the Wonderbolts. And Celestia only knows where Pinkie Pie disappeared to. Needless to say, the bloom of new relationships has strained the once-sturdy roots of old. But forgotten villains have returned in search of revenge, and they're tearing the Equestrian countryside to pieces in the process. Can the Elements of Harmony reunite to put an end to the madness once and for all? Will the Elements even work this time, or will other, less savory alliances need to be forged?
