Hmm...I guess this is a slightly better ending for Mender, but it comes at a price: being severed from Equus and all but two of the ponies he loves for who knows how long...At least the Keldarians get peacefully rebuilt from it.
But let's see what this external voice has to say bout this end...
I never noticed until this end that the final line is most likely spoken by something other than the protagonist. I have a feeling that seeing as the author mentioned having trouble with plotholes for the third ending, that might be the golden end. Maybe.
well now... guess ill just wait till the last ending. but it seams hes become a mix between Nirru and the Grosh. wonder how Ending 3 will be played out
rereading this ending, this was the epilogue i remembered the most despite not remembering how the ending itself actually went. i feel like i liked this better the the first ending now that i did my rant on the previous of why i didn't like it.
my question on this ending is why they couldn't just reopen the weakened area portal again? while Mender/Keela link was holding the dimensions together, they said it would take a week or so before they drift apart. when Keela got the warning of the invasion, she wanted to cut the link as if it was very quick to drift away. if it was that instant of drifting from closing the link, why didn't Keelas ship jsut enter their dimension and have it close behind them? did the reformed Grosh ship not have the capability to make portal? would it take that long for Keelas ship to recharge enough to enter?
im guessing those emergency teleport gems need the connection still open to work? would think AJ should have at least teleported before all 3 headed for the sun. why risk another life heading to almost certain doom

The voice at the end...that was Purdue, wasn't it?
Is....Is Purdue altering the timelines? Is that whats going on?!

Time to move on to the last variant, I think. The last phrase is just... Correct.
So far, my favourite ending is the first one.
