Some of you might remember when I made that embarrassing blog post at the expense of Lise. Well, now is Sober's turn to get the magic--or something. You see, last night I came across a neat little statistic when it comes to my NLD partner in crime.

Sooooon! Soon, I will pull the trigger on the publish button. Chapter 2 approaches.
No Longer Displaced
Giddily squees about.
The joys of having a mid-week montage for Chapter 3 culminate with the two-day, short wait for Chapter 4. It's relieving to not have to wait the full seven days for a change. I hope you all enjoy, and we finally managed to kill Neon! Yuuuus!
Tail swooshes in and flicks her namesake. 'Hey there! Wing's a giddy little author because, this week, he and Sober are putting out a chapter that they've both been looking forward to for a very long time. Of course, since it's the holiday that lent its name to the Easter Egg, this sassy pegasus has decided to hijack an image to drop a tease of her own. See you cuties on Thursday!'
Gosh, it's almost like that story I wrote with Sober is a third of the way through its publication run! Oh baby! Thanks for reading folks. :P Enjoy the chapter, and remember... it's all for the P.L.O.T. (Praise Luna on Thursday!)
Hey there script fillies and colts! I’m putting my feelers out a bit because there has been a thought in my head for a while, and I want to measure the vibes. In case you’ve missed it, Sober and I launched a collaborative work called No Longer Displaced. This story means a lot to us, and when I say a lot, I’m at a table flailing my arms for emphasis—even while knowing none of you can see me do so. The story means enough to us that I am planning to make a print run so that we can physically hold
For quite a while, Sober and I have been dropping hints at the release of No Longer Displaced. Writing that story with him was in my highlights of an otherwise daunting year, and admittedly, I had some concerns lingering when we finally pulled the trigger. Sober's got a lot of readers who are used to the formula he's applied for other stories. NLD breaks that mold, and there was definitely a fear there that folks would just
I didn't write blogs for 5 and 6! For shame! But... it's time to Praise Luna on Thursday -- and check out that PLOT -- because Chapter 7 is here, and the beetus is with it. :3
As always, your support, reads, comments, and woot parties are appreciated.
NLD! <-- Link's right there because collaboration! :3
This is essentially a rehash of the last blog post. Editing is moving swiftly. Word Worthy has finished his primary edit pass. I am on CH26 of my primary pass, and finished my CH17 remaster last night. Things are on schedule to meet the deadline! That being said, below is all the stuff I said before.
It's up! Wing is a happy pegasus! May the power of collaborative projects be with you! :3
Hi there script fillies and colts! Surprise!
Sings. Can I get a midweek montage? Montage! Can I—Can I—Can I get a midweek montage!?
If ya read NLD Chapter 3, then yes, yes we can. ;) There's another shameless plug from me for our weird Tuesday release day. :3
Hey there script kiddies! Whether you’ve ventured here from Sober’s end or mine, there might be some questions lingering in your heads when it comes to No Longer Displaced. Particularly, how does this story relate to the others Sober and I have written? What’s canonical? What’s the continuity?
Alright script fillies and colts, I have received some PMs and replies... and some Discord and Skype action force on the subject of should No Longer Displaced have a print run. The overwhelming answer is yes, so let's move ahead with the nitty gritty.
So, I received the NLD and ASoD prints today.
1 of the ASoD books has a damaged cover.
11 of the NLD books have damaged spines, bent pages, skewed covers, and/or clipped covers.
This is unacceptable quality, and it really fucks my plans with Sober being kidnapped in a few days.
It's probably the first time I've been able to use this image and mean it.
I was bored.
Group of friends go to pony con dressed for costume competition
Whups fall into a wormhole (screw your standards)
Oh no we're gonna turn into a pony--no wait, we're still human, this is my bed, this is my house, this is my ID, The Bureau outside is not mine.
Oh no we turn into ponies anyways.
Oh no I don't have a plot.
The REMASTER edit pass has been finished! Things are off for a final typo hunt, which means that stuff is definitely going to be done well before the deadline. Originally, I had intended to do some strange double invoice thing to separate print costs and shipping costs. Given that I live in IL, however, I discovered that this becomes a pain in the ass on the tax front. Essentially, the nitty gritties have changed slightly, but I now have the numbers on the true costs of print, taxes,
So if you notice, some tags have changed on The Whittler. This is because, the biggest hang-up I've had over this story, was to either stick with my original ideas, or try and change it to what I wanted it to be, which was more Slice of Life.
I realized that this has made me spiral out of control, trying to change the story, even going into the original gdocs of chapters and almost totally re-writing the story, which would require me to update each chapter, changing the whole story.
Hello readers! Do you all vaguely remember how once upon a time, I'd update things and post horsewords? Admittedly, the second half of 2016 was a raw shit deal on my end. The writing vibe was largely suppressed, but one voice rang out through my imagination, and that voice belonged to a sassy little pegasus named Tail. She began her existence as Wing's R63, but it quickly became evident that there were some unique elements up for exploration. That was only cemented when she met
