Seven years ago, Sober and I started posting chapters of No Longer Displaced. It's hard to believe it has already been that long, but it's not hard to recognize the profound impact writing that story had on my life. Sober and I randomly hurled our characters into a chat, kept experimenting with those interactions, and within a

    Eyyyy, the 28th.

A year ago, Sober and I finished the NLA publication run. It happened to coincide with my orbit day.

Here's to another year of such an amazing, motivating friendship.

Been working on a website for the No Longer stories, and it's looking quite clean. HTML has come a long way with CSS. :3

    BronyCon 2019: Into the Storm

Hi there! Been a bit! I'll be at BronyCon. For some reason, the convention gave me a panel. It's Physicists Invade Equestria in the Hall of the Moon from 5-6 PM on Thursday. Come on by for some lighthearted science if you're down for it.

And don't worry, I have a nice slip out point for those who want to experience the line for opening ceremonies.

NLD Print Run Reminder · 10:02pm Apr 7th, 2017

This is essentially a rehash of the last blog post. Editing is moving swiftly. Word Worthy has finished his primary edit pass. I am on CH26 of my primary pass, and finished my CH17 remaster last night. Things are on schedule to meet the deadline! That being said, below is all the stuff I said before.

Alright script fillies and colts, I have received some PMs and replies... and some Discord and Skype action force on the subject of should No Longer Displaced have a print run. The overwhelming answer is yes, so let's move ahead with the nitty gritty.

1. If you wish to order a copy of NLD send me (Wing) a PM with your Paypal email address and some PM title that is indicative that you are placing an order. Yes, we're doing this stuff through Paypal invoices. You have until May 14, 2017 to place your order. For clarity, I have created a countdown clock: HERE!

2. If you would also like to order a copy of A State of Darkness, say that you want both in your PM, or I will just assume you mean No Longer Displaced.

3. For reference, the cost of printing ASoD is $7.17. The cost of printing NLD will likely be around $5.50. We'll know more once editing wraps up. Again, I will state that this is obviously a non-profit venture. We are charging only for the cost to print the book (and shipping.... which brings me to point 4.

4. The original intent was to deliver printed books at BronyCon. That is still the idea. However, I was approached by quite a few folks who wanted books to be shipped. Please indicate in your order email if you are doing a BronyCon pick-up, or if you want things shipped to you. If you want books shipped, it will take me a little bit longer to get things to you. I don't want to charge for postage in advance and have it be too much or too little, so you're just going to have to be patient.

5. Once the order period ends, I will send out invoices for printing costs only. Sober and I will review a set of proofs before we pull the trigger on the main order. He will be here in June to sign books, and trust me when I say that I will probably write a letter in your copies, especially if we talk on a regular basis. :P For those who need a shipping option, I will determine the cost of shipping and send a second invoice for that. I know it sounds a bit weird to have a split invoice thing like that, but I really want to have all the books here when Sober comes to visit so we can really sign them for everyone. For those who will be going the BronyCon pick-up route. I'll see your asses in August. :P

Recap. If you want a physical copy of NLD or ASoD, send Wing a PM indicating so. Also state if you will be picking the book up at BronyCon of if you need a shipping option. The details of how the payments for those things are above, and the deadline for placing an order is May 14, 2017.

Anyway, I think that takes care of that. If you have any questions or feel like I left something out, please let me know. Pew pew!
