After getting reminded of a rather hateful comment and subsequent report I received a few years ago, I found myself asking this question...
But no, no it does not. Here's why:
1. He is not given an exact age. You can do whatever you want with that aspect.
2. Theoretically, the rules of humans don't apply to Equestria.
3. The other characters aren't given exact ages, either, so it's a free for all!
There is a company named Heaven and the boss named Got says, "One who produces a yearly financial report for me shall get a promotion."
The Employe Christian hears of this good news and works diligently to produce said report.
There's another employee named Athist who didn't get the memo because he was at a meeting with a client. He too works diligently and produces a financial report because he knows the company needs it.
Ok so, first things first. Any of my long-term followers will remember my ongoing struggles with the twin forces of Not Having Blood and Being Terminally Bearded. I can't fix the latter (doesn't matter how often you cut it off, it always grows back) but the former is theoretically curable.
I've been watching Picard, the new Star Trek series CBS produceccd, with Patrick Stewart and a bunch of people. It's... confusing. The pacing is the problem, whenever I think about it. The conceit is interesting, but the pacing is terrible, and it also suffers from something I've come to think of as "hifi/low budget" in its set design, inasmuch as the production of relatively high quality props and sets - or the parts thereof - has become possible for a fairly low price, leading to a lot
Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes. But when Untitled came out in 92, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisps sound, and a new sheen of consumate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. They've been compared to Weezer, but I think the group has a far more optimistic, forward-thinking sense of humour.
Lets say you have a character who has a reasonably good income, who has got into the habit of anonymously gifting to people in need, and has done that for so long that they feel it's become a part of their character. Their income suddenly reduces to the point that they can only survive, but not share and not increase. How does the character react?
How do they find purpose when their chosen purpose has suddenly been ripped away?
Do they even have one?
