I am really surprised how many watch the first ever fanfic audio reading on my channal. That is just
awesome. Just wanted to let people know that part 2 is now up. How you all enjoy ^_^
Just like Redford, Newman and director George Roy Hill's previous collaboration, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting proves to be a stupendously enjoyable romp that not only manages to be a supremely FUN film, but also one with a twist ending that is so awesome that I literally shouted for joy at the sight of it. Winning a well deserved Best Picture award, the film has aged beautifully, and now rightfully stands as a crown jewel of the caper genre.
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is a refreshingly unpretentious film that's main goal is to entertain in a uniquely laid back and amiable manner, a task which it does with flying colors.
I can't claim to have watched it back then. See, that was my last year at university, and while I should have been studying so I wouldn't get a D in that database course and screw up my GPA so I wouldn't graduate cum laude, I was likely rip-roaring drunk that Saturday night. Even if I hadn't, I still would have been unlikely to see it, if just for the reason that my parents had full control of the house's sole TV on Saturday nights so they might watch such sophisticated fare as Love Boat and
Salutations, my friends.
