After running my new chapter past prereaders and discussing it with them, the conclusion was unanimous—they loved all of it including the powerful combat scenes and especially some very hot adult action at the end, but the ending scene exceeded an R-rating. I find the words for it coming a lot more readily than Harmonic Resonance, whose climactic chapter remains unfinished at a whopping 16k words and is very likely at this point to be broken up again.
