IN WHICH I WONDER THINGS
I've been on a school trip for the past two days. Today I did a ropes course for the first time. It was amazing! I also made a couple of friends.
I've counted like six documents in my folders ready to post updates, they are just lacking a once over edit or less than 100 words to be finished.
Idk, I just feel totally drained when it comes to writing.
Maybe because my job is like nothing but paperwork I'm burnt out on the written word. Or maybe I'm just lazy.
Probs lazy.
BECAUSE MY BRAIN DON'T WORK TOO GOOD
Fun Fact: I actually typed up a "Random Ramblings 42" post three days ago to talk about the one-year anniversary of writing Highs & Lows, but evidently I closed my browser without actually posting it. Boy do I feel like an idiot.
Instead, I feel a need to rant about writing (what else is new?). Here we go.
To the three people who care about my existence, hi, it’s me, Frazzle, who is going to be participating in Jinglemas this year. If you somehow like the stories I’ve written, expect to see something similar for Jinglemas in December.
In the meantime, however, here’s a link to Jinglemas.
This Thing Is The Link
Check it out, and if you want to join in, well, the more the merrier!
Well, after a vacation, with some interesting adventures occurring during the trip, I have returned to my dwelling, and am ready to work on this story some more! I managed to make great progress on chapter 2 during the vacation, and I hope to get even more done now that I am back from my escapade. I will say this, it may take longer than expected to finish this chapter, because from where it stands now, it's going to be a massive chapter, possibly ten thousand words big if it keeps going!
I did some changes on my profile page, like adding a comment section or adding the biographies of my OC's for those of you who want to know how some of them look like and don't want to go over to my Deviantart page or for those who missed the blog posts where I introduced them for the first time.
my fic is waiting for approval right now :D
i'd tag it, but i still am waiting for it to be published
aaaaaaaa
hey kids, just a bit of advice: IF YOU ARE ME YOU SHOULD AVOID WRITING ABOUT PANIC ATTACKS BECAUSE YOU WILL BEGIN TO PANIC SLIGHTLY AND IT'S NOT FUN
anyway i think i like how different it is from my previous fic which i probably will end up revising anyway
ttfn!
ta ta for now
Griff snarled, sending another rock flying with a free hoof.
He hated this. Why couldn’t his mother see that his “dad” wasn’t right for either of him? Why couldn’t he have a good father?
He sighed heavily, dropping down to the ground and laying his head against it, curling up in his alicorn wings.
He wanted a good father.
IN WHICH I LACK BURRITOS
No, really. I haven’t been by my local burrito place in a long time, partly due to my mother, so I haven’t been able to get good inspiration for another Burritoverse story. Sorry. For now, enjoy my favorite J-Pop group NiziU.
Yes, there’s other Japanese groups I like more, but they’re either alt-Idol or J-Rock. Anywho, if you’ll follow me past the jump.
So yeah...
I did nothing the last month... (at least nothing here on my own page.)
The first half of the month I was actually pretty busy, winter break is the worst time to work in a cinema, but since college restarted this only applies to weekends.
I just thought I'd write a top 5 list of MLP fanfictions that I love. Now these aren't in order because who cares.
1. Fallout Equestria- One of the first Fanfictions of MLP I found and thanks to Visualpony the Narrator I was able to listen to it because I'm a very slow reader. Steelhooves became one of my favourite characters and I loved Littlepip.
I have attempted to bleach my armpit hair with hydrogen peroxide. I'm Hispanic, so of course it didn't work. I planned to dye that shit tonight. Before that, my all time low was reading reylo smut while listening to odd future. The good news was that I got to listen to my Melanie Martinez CD. She's the shit.
These past couple of days, I helped with the 4th grade field trip. It was lit. Looks like a lot happened, so what did I miss?
You ever go into your kitchen and look into the cupboards to find it full of foods, but you can't eat any of it since they all require cooking? Well, I'm feeling that right now with my writing.
_____... And this is an apology.
_____Ugh, I have been neglecting my readers and my stories in equal measure and it needs to stop. Life is tough, there's no denying that, but if I want to write for a living, I need to learn to overcome my writer's block, my bad moods, and life's overall bull-shittery, and keep writing regardless of what's happening in my life.
IN WHICH THUMBS-UPS HAPPEN
Sorry I haven't posted anything since Christmas. It's tough to get back into the writing when you've had to be away from it for a bit. I still have a half-completed MBT chapter that I might finish tomorrow if I don't get distracted by anime again.
You know, I got asked what you can do for Nightmare Night when you're stuck in a computer.
I don't know 'bout anypony else, but I played a game called "Message Quest" all the way through this Nightmare Night. It was pretty cute. It only took me 90 minutes, including going back to get the two achievements I I missed (Do you have any idea how difficult it is to get an achievement called "Don't Touch the Glowing Bottle"? It was glowing!) , but it was only $2.99.
Just got back from my ASP trip, which I sorely needed. It sorta recharged my proverbial batteries.
Anywho, I've regained my desire to write, so I'm planning on sticking my nose back to the grindstone tomorrow after I finish unpacking and doing laundry.
TRB, if you're reading this, yes, I'm still here, and I'll have that chapter to you as soon as I can reinstall MS Office. Sorry it's taking so long.
