I say today cause it's 2 am here but yeah got a few days of general rest from writing the story. Felt nice after a month of off and on writing. Back to writing though- mainly I have ideas and I'm slightly bored is all. Also for those wondering I have an idea for the next story I might work on, No real details besides that I am teaming up an older Sweetie Belle and Flurry Heart in it to go on an adventure- don't know when that's coming out but it's on the back burner. So I just started on chapter 15 and decided to leave larger gaps in between text to make reading it a lot easier.
I'm at 581 words at the moment.
Have no idea how long I'll make this chapter!

I suppose it's not particularly unexpected, but I'd like to more officially announce that I'm retiring from ponies. It's been a long time since I've had the opportunity or inclination to write ponyfic, and I don't particularly expect either of those things to change in the future. My enthusiasm has waned for the show, and this isn't a sudden or new change. For quite some time, the only thing really keeping me going was this site, and the supportive culture here.

There seems to be some saltiness about Shining being immortal, as it makes Cadance seem pushy and selfish or something. That wasn't my intent, and to be perfectly honest, it was a throwaway line that I included on a whim. I really don't care either way, so if you think Shining being mortal would give Cadance a better motivator to do the time shenanigans, then I'll change it.
