I Played Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade · 4:40pm Jul 31st, 2020

Back when Lucas Films was known for more than Star Wars, and now they're both owned by Disney. I'm actually not upset there hasn't been an Indy movie for a long time. Back to the game.

This is a point and click puzzle adventure game. You've got a whole list of interactions possible: Look, open/close, take/give, walk, talk, there's a whole menu to choose from.

I played Final Fantasy 11 · 4:02pm Jun 26th, 2020

… a few times over the years. I bought it and played it when it first came out. Back when the Devs actually hated the players
(That's the only excuse for some of their choices that make any sense.)

This one is something else.

Just a bit of the back story to set up the game.

Have you seen Manos: The Hands of Fate?

The Legend of Zelda minus Zelda.

I appreciate that Nintendo took the lessons that they learned from the Ocarina of Time and took more risks. And those risks certainly paid off. There are a lot of positives to go over in this game, so let's get into it.

Video Game Reviews #1 - The Talos Principle · 10:03am Jan 6th, 2016

I have written reviews of video games I have played for a long time. I realized that it was kind of silly that I only ever posted them on Steam and Metacritic, and not here. So I thought I'd start out with something of a doozy - The Talos Principle, a game which was widely regarded as the game of the year of 2014 (and not just because the cover art has a robot petting a kitten).

Most of you have probably noticed by now that I haven’t been particularly active in reviewing lately. Especially compared to the last few years.

Well, that’s something I’d like to come clean about:

I played Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions · 3:21am Feb 13th, 2021

A different Final Fantasy.

This game plays different from other Final Fantasy games. Towns aren't much of a thing in this game. They're basically menus where you can shop, hire mercenaries and take quests. The real stage are the battle fields. And they do some great scenes with these stages.

I played a few Sega Master System games · 5:22am Aug 22nd, 2020

Yep, still playing games from my childhood. I figure I'll do some of these in one because they would be pretty short.

Double Dragon.

Here's the story as I know it. Gang kidnaps your girlfriend, you and your buddy go on the war path right through their ranks, all the way to the top.

Got a few updates to share. The first of which is that I've been slowly but surely working on a new chapter for "Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children". Let me just say, working on Zecora's dialogue is very difficult. You really have to think about context, rhythm, and structure just to make sure what she says not only makes flawless sense, but still can sit in a regular conversation. This does mean
