I apologize for my long absence; for the last few months I wandered out into dark caves and buried myself there. I had no reason for doing so; I simply did. It is not that I lost interest, or found something more interesting to do; indeed, there was little to do in the dark.
I just hid. From what?
Myself, perhaps?
Back in April, I started on a set of Read It Now reviews. I ended up reading a couple stories for it, and then forgetting I had started a review set and never finishing it.
Today, as I went to read some recent stories, I realized that I had an unfinished review set, and as it wasn’t really quite timely, I merged it into this.
A whole week of not writing. I daresay it was necessary. It was nice to be able to dive into gaming like I used to, but I know better than to let that sink its steely, pixelated hooks into my flesh for a second time, so I finally ended the little vacation yesterday. I won’t be seriously into writing again until next week due to a busy coming weekend; I just don’t see the point of trying to pick up steam when I know I’ll have to hit the breaks again. Still, I am writing again in general, so it’s
PLOT: Principal Celestia, an immortal extra terrestrial from the planet Alicornia, ropes three detention students into becoming her defacto army against Tirek, Nightmare Moon, Chrysalis, and the Guildy monsters of Tartarus. Naturally, with absolutely no training and reeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy crazy stupid powers, they are absolute fail, leaving Orchard Blossom, Maud Pie, and Trixie Lulamoon stuck in rare form. At least the sirens are going to have some genuine competition in Rainbow Rocks.
I’ve re-read Heretical Fictions a few times over the years, but kept on putting off posting a review of it until after I reviewed Eternal, as Heretical Fictions is a story about Twilight and Celestia reacting to Eternal being published in Equestria. Thus, that story’s review kept getting shuffled forward and forward in time, until finally I reviewed Eternal.

Writing this one was a bit tough, I wanted to write at least 5,970 words for it, to still meet my goal for the National Pony Writing Month, and I also had some trouble to deal with the last days, which almost delayed this chapter further..... Almost.
Welp, here I am, having to announce another delay for Chapter 20, despite my promise from last week.
This time, I got hit by a nasty cold on Thursday, which successfully decapitated me for four days straight..... Neither the fever, nor the headache did allow for any writing during these four days.
Here's something new I want to try out. Since I face some issues right now that lead to it that Chapter 16 of "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!" takes a little longer than usually, I release a preview for the chapter today.
