I've been binging the MCU recently, and one of my favorites so far is "What If?". It's the exact kind of AU BS that I love in my fanfic. The idea of a "What If" AU is nothing new, of course, but it occurred to me that it might be interesting to steal the structure of the show, and maybe some themes from the broader MCU, for use in a story of my own.
Ok, this version of Ultron is my favorite and this scene is pretty funny
Seriously, when did Marvel villains get good? I really want to know. So I found this video that both asks and answers the same question and it was really good. You guys can check it out if you want.
Really, really liked it.
Wasn't even going to go see it originally since I generally dislike 'hero vs hero' stories, but this one did it really well. The moral dilemma that split the party, so to speak, felt genuine. That the stakes were genuinely so high that it made sense for the heroes to come to blows over them.
A new trailer that I have been wanting to do for a while. I hope you all like it a trailer that I had fun making. This trailer also includes the named introduction of a new character. Based on the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War, all rights go to Marvel Studios and Disney respectively. I am so psyched for this movie and seeing its early reviews I am so much happier. In case you are wondering Civil War has a 97% on Rotton Tomatoes. I am Team Iron Man by the way, anyway onto the
So, in this past week I have seen both Captain Marvel and Shazam! Hence the title there. If you know your comic history, you know that the heroic protagonist of Shazam! takes on the name Captain Marvel, a deliberate choice by his creator’s to stick it to Marvel comics at the time. There’s a lot more history with that which went bouncing back and forth, but there are comic historians who’ve delved into thatparticular legal and trademark battle and produced write-ups
First of all: NO SPOILERS.
I mean, really readers? I wouldn’t do that to you.
But I have just returned from Marvel’s Endgame. Yup, my birthday gift to myself was a ticket for opening night. Kind of. It’s 4 AM here, so you can guess how late I was at the showing. But …
Here’s all I have to say. Again, no spoilers. None. I simply couldn’t.
If you’re at all invested in the Marvel films, just go see it.
Let's just get out of the way the fact that I am a bit of a Marvel fan, or at least, I like their superhero movies more than any other studio. But at the same time, I didn't care about this movie at first; I didn't really have any inclination to see it, but I did anyway. I liked the first Ant-Man but I'd heard this one wasn't quite as good, which I expected. Plus, Infinity War already came out this year, and I really liked that, so this wasn't really a big thing.

Congratulations to Tom Rothman for winning the Award for Worst Hollywood Executive Decision.
Getting my ass kicked in UCVM3 because I have no clue what the fuck I'm doing and haven't TOUCHED a fighting game in like a decade, but at least I'm having fun and doing it in style!
Why you may ask well Civil war ( the Marvel movie) is coming out this weekend and it just so happen that i need to study for my final this weekend So yeah that is why i am saying bad timing. So since i am not seeing (Captain America: Civil WAr) I guess i will not be on as much ( on the internet) to aviod as much spoilers as possiable. But i guess it is more of a reason to do more studying this weekend :/ but it is still going to be hard avioding spoilers when i am on the internet >3<
And while I won't be dropping any spoilers until the full write-up...
Whoo-hoo, what a ride that was.
It was thrilling, dramatic, emotional, and still had some good moments of humor too.
I really enjoyed myself. Definitely a worthy culmination to an era of moviemaking that started back in 2008 with RDJ and Iron Man.
For anyone keen to check out a crossover fanfic that has received overwhelmingly positive reviews, I invite you to check out the second volume of my epic crossover between custom version of a Godzilla and Marvel universes.
