I haven't done a progress blog on Sunrise in a long, long time.
Sorry about that.
I'm gonna do one now, though.
In fact, I'm gonna do the last one:
Sunrise is finished!
I finished writing the final chapter a couple days ago. The GDocs link has been sent off to the editors. I have cover art. We're at the finish line, folks. This is it.
I've been hinting at having an AU with a desert wasteland world with Celestia in it.
Now I think I have enough writing skill to do it.
Has a lot of ideas that I picked up in sci fi type stuff. Been kicking around for like 1 or more years.

I've been helping Winston edit on Sunrise now for quite some time, and it has been a wonderful experience. I think you'll enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed the writing process, so join us as a much younger Celestia faces a terrible decision that will shake the world and her own relationship with her sister. "Are we good ponies?" is a question all of us must face at times, and sometimes that question leads to death, destruction, and unwanted power.
Regular accountability posts, I mean.
I haven't gotten nearly enough writing done these past... oh, couple years or so. And that's on me. I'm not going to get into excuses, since I don't feel that I really have any valid ones. No medical problems, no dire circumstances, no my-world-is-imploding crises.
The big thing on my plate making me start this:
Not a whole lot to report, other than that chapter 15 of Sunrise got another 1000 words or so, and more importantly, got finished and has been off to the pre-readers for a few days now. The editing process is now moving along, so that's good.
On to chapter 16, then? Well, yeah, when I have time to write it. That's gonna be tough to find this week - mid-terms are coming, and I'm not looking forward to them, TBH.
Yes, it finally happened: Sunrise just got featured on Equestria Daily!
In celebration, have this next chapter in which a plan is hatched. Of course, one must ask, is it a good plan? Well, that remains to be seen... but it'll be an interesting one, that's for sure.
54 is being editted by Folan this weekend.
I am finishing 55 for Props this week.
56, 57 will take place on the Enclave Raptor and explain the plotshift.
58 will be something special
59 will be clean up for Book 3 and preparation to decide if we wanna keep going or NOT.
So there ya go :)
The pre-orders for Book 3 and purchases of Book 3 will determine if I can keep going or not.
This morning at around five, I looked outside after I saw a lightning strike. But what I saw was many many times better then just lightning! I saw a Sunrise Rainbow!
They are very rare, and for good reason! The conditions have to be absolutely perfect for one to show!
1.) It has to be sunrise. (Obviously...)
2.) There has to be a thunderstorm approching from the west.
3.) There has to be an unobstructed line from the sun directly to the rain.

Sunset Shimmer. The Pony of the EQGVerse. When the first movie came out, some bronies wonder what’s her backstory. The comics tried tackling that but what about fimfiction? Ideas and theories can evolve into wondrous stories.
I got up early this morning to go to the store before my mom had to go to work. I get home, grab the groceries, and start walking to my house when all of the sudden I feel really tingly. Before my sleep deprived brain realizes it's because there is an electrical charge in the air, lightning strikes the ground right next to my neighbors garage just ten feet away from me.
"Sunrise", my next big novel length project, continues to make progress. I'm up to six chapters so far (out of about seventeen projected). I have a few pre-readers already signed on, but I could use a few more, so I thought I'd see if anyone else happens to have become interested. Here are the details of the story:
Sunrise
I will admit, it was a rush to get back on the horse so to speak and make Chapter 27 happen. I will admit, that I did 2 less proof reading every other chapter before. That was just to get a piece of content out to get back to doing it.
I now see this was a mistake, so many comments have told me how many different errors, grammar/spell/syntax, I have made with this chapter.
I expected to get out 4 chapters of FoE and 2 short stories over decemeber.
I got 2 Chapters and 1 Story :(
Holidays; they suck.
I thank everyone for putting up with this and hope to have the next FoE chapter out after I get to my new place next weekend.
Anyway, hope all is well and here is a picture for you for the upcoming story:
Back in April we decided to with-hold the remaining 4 chapters till we were closing upon book 3's release.
Back in March we lost a person very close and dear to me, making all progress slow and hard to push though. I still cry for him every week and toast a Sarsaparilla to his name.
Well, it's on the presses right now, it will be here at my house sometime before the end of the month.
I humbly Apologize for the Radio Silence, I know it irritates you as much as it does me.
So I'm going to start with this, Vonholtz is dead. He died Feb 28th at 11:06am from a Covid-19 induced Stroke and it's complications. he was declared brain dead on Feb 26th.
A Funeral was held for him here:
This has left me reeling for weeks and it has taken much effort to get this far. Please if you knew him go pay some respects if you didn't; then you really did in a way, at the Tabletop Game he played Scopola Mina.
The Pony ASMR Project put out a call for writers to apply a little while ago.
Guess who applied?
And guess who got a callback?
And guess who passed the audition piece they asked me to write?
And guess who got hired?
Not gonna lie, it feels pretty darn good to get picked for a job.
And it's writing! Sure, it's just to write one script, for now, but it's kinda nice to have a writing project again, and I'm having fun with it.
