    Hey everyone!

That's right, I'm still here! I've been logging on nearly every day, and reading a few stories here and there.

I just haven't had much to blog about lately that's MLP related. I heard the news that season 9 will be the last. And to be honest, I'm okay with it. Everything has to end eventually, and trying to drag it out longer will only lead to terrible things! :rainbowlaugh:

    No explanation needed. :rainbowlaugh:

Just thought of this, and I had to make it.

So, I should probably explain why I disappeared.

First, I'd like to apologise to all of my friends that I carelessly left hanging in the wind here on this site. It definitely wasn't a nice thing to do, and I regret it immensely.

A lot has happened in the 2+ years I was gone, but the biggest thing to happen is that I was diagnosed with high functioning autism.

I was nearly struck by lightning · 12:33pm Jul 24th, 2015

I got up early this morning to go to the store before my mom had to go to work. I get home, grab the groceries, and start walking to my house when all of the sudden I feel really tingly. Before my sleep deprived brain realizes it's because there is an electrical charge in the air, lightning strikes the ground right next to my neighbors garage just ten feet away from me.

For about five minutes after my body felt like I stuck my finger in a light socket. It was pretty crazy... *was able to refrain from saying it was "shocking..."*

On the plus side, I was able to get a picture of a sunrise rainbow, plus a few pics that just look awesome.

*EDIT*

This is what it felt like...

Well shit. Good thing ya did not got hit by the ground discharge. It once striked one of the goalpost about 20f away from me about 5 years ago. Blew me right of my feet. Makes you remember nature doesn't take shit from nobody.

Holy shit, that was close.

Nice pictures. And, congratulations on not getting struck by lightning.

Lightning tried to hit me. I hit it back.

What were you doing in a field in the middle of a lightning storm? :rainbowlaugh:

3265820
*looks at your name suspiciously*

3265824
Thank you to both of those! :rainbowlaugh:

Who ever said I didn't fall on my ass? :trollestia:

I was on our cement patio when it hit, so now I have a very sore ass.

3267371 It was one of those stray lightning bolts. Those that discharge once or twice in a moderate rain shower.

I bet it scared the shit out of you!

3267418 Totally. That, and one of the best adrenaline rushes I ever had in my life.

You could say the whole situation has left me a little... but hurt... :trollestia:

Feh, you should have actually gotten hit, everyone knows that's where the real fun is! It will light up your life!! :rainbowlaugh:

And, also may in fact kill you... So... Yeah...

I grabbed an electric fence once, that was good enough for me.

I would rather not almost die, thank you.

I was once pushed into an electric fence. It was not a fun experience... :derpytongue2:

3274468 Well you know, if you do ever get hit, and survive, You'll get a really kick ass scar out of it... :trollestia:

Still, not a recommended pastime... :facehoof:

I always thought it would be cool to have a scar in the shape of lightning.

I thought of Harry Potter after I typed that...

You should be depressed actually. You could've gotten a superpower. That's how it works, man. Science.
