As you know, I have a bad habit of starting things and never getting around to finishing them.
For this, I deeply apologize. I can't promise they will be finished, but I am certain that in time I will get some of them done.
So apparently, I'm terrible with multi story writing, and I'm also increasingly distracted. That's not good.
So in this blog I want to address what's happening with Nyx and the Sunset, and Nyx and the Shadow of Nightmare, I will be tagging Nyx and the Sunset as that story is probably the most relevant, I'll keep the blog short.

Been a while since I've called you that hasn't it? 
Not since Tears in the Snow anyway. 
I'm curious about things, namely what you, my lovely little trotters, thought about the story. 
So I want to know, what did you think of the story? What did you like and dislike? What parts of the story do you think I could've done better? What parts do you think the story could have gone without?
I'm going to cut to the chase here. Since I started work on chapter seven, I've started to realize that Nyx and the Sunset is in dire need of repair. I know a great many of you enjoy this story but I for one loath Nyx and the Sunset, and I was once highly enthusiastic for it. Chapter Seven, with what I've written for it already, has shown me that I haven't made any progression in my writing in the third person style since I started this story back in May 2015, and even before that my style was
Nyx and the Sunset chapter 2 re-edits are finished and there are some minor changes, as well as some major changes.
I will be replacing the chapter with the revised version in about four hours time. If you wish to compare versions, I recommend downloading chapter two by itself, or copy and pasting it on a doc or office word file.
So remember two blogs ago when I said I was changing Shadow of Nightmare? At the moment, I haven't been able to start on that, nor continue with my current project due to a lack of motivation, right now I'm trying to find a trigger to get my motivation into gear. If any of you are waiting for than then I do apologize. I do fully intend to work on it, but for now I need to find my groove. In addition to this, I don't know how to start it which is a problem.
Could somepony help me find a story where a human child essentially lived through superman origin (sent to another world to save them, while his world (& his parents) dies. I was reading it when I got the story list involving Nyx's stories and decided to read them before continuing.

So we all know A Mothers Warmth, probably the most successful and most liked fic that I've written, It's a charming little story about Nyx and Twilight. But here's the thing, I actually spent the past three days making a few touch ups and refinements to the story that wasn't present before originally.
While I tweaked Nyx and the Sunset to include Friendship Games canon into it by the fifth chapter, Legend of the Everfree will not be joining its predecessors into the Nyx and the Sunset canon, not for personal reasons for once, I actually have to see Legends of the Everfree to be able to do anything about including it in the canon, and it has to give me ideas that I can use in the story. I get it, I contradicted myself but MixMassBasher (my personal BattyGloom for Nyx and the Sunset) Pm'd me some of his criticisms and suggestions to help the story out, and thus far they have been. So I took some of his suggestions and added them to the first chapter, I even rewrote a full section. Here's the changelog:

Pen Stroke is the author of course of Past Sins. I am rather fond of that story. As in it is ranked second in my all time favorite list.
I'm starting. It'll be the first of a few that I will be redoing from scratch. The re-written version will clean up some logic issues.
Unfortunately, I cannot for the life of me come up with a good enough reason for Sunset to bring Nyx to her place and not inform anyone about her. So if you have idea's that can help me rationalize that so Sunset isn't a kidnapper then I'm all for it.
