The idea is simple: I post a verse or so from a song, and you have to guess the title and writer of that song. (Should be easy if you know my taste in music well enough) If you like, you can cheeallenge your followers to do the same in your own blog.
Here goes nothing! (Not that song, I just like saying that.)
Why would you need comforting?
I nearly died, alone in the dark,
Imagine Dragons?
Or Selena Gomez?
I dunno about you guys, but I’m rooting for Imagine Dragons.
Just a version of “What My Cutiemark Is Telling Me” from “Mystery Magical Cure” but with the main characters of G5 instead
This was just made for fun

These rule-breakers are rushin’, yes, too many to track
Their skills allow them to cause trouble behind my back
But I must keep going at them, 'cause plainly you can see
It's got to be my destiny, and it's what my cutie mark is telling me
[Hitch]
So I wanted to share some of my fave MLP songs and fan made ones I've come across over the years.
First on my list is Bad Seed. Arguably one of the best made songs in the series in my opinion, this song has a very old fashion Scooby Doo feel to it, and let's face it Babs is adorable, just not as much as Silver Spoon!
Thats right! I'm making a playlist! If you have any songs you'd like to recommend, please put them in the comments!
(P.S. Twilight is afraid of Quesadillias, yet Nachos are fine?)
None of us remember anymore,
How the days carelessly ran by,
We didn't that need much,
Only needed you and I.
We didn't ask many questions,
We didn't play those games,
Today we're calculating everything,
There's no fun in it, it's not a phase.
But what can we do with it?
We're building our house on the sand,
Price is irrelevant,
We've bought almost everything,
But it's empty in our hearts,
I want to recollect my thoughts,
Hear the beating of your heart,
That's right, I did it again. You may have noticed that most of my songs have been parodies, with a few originals. Sorry if you want to know the tunes to the originals, but my audio recording software sucks. (Free version of Audacity) This is tagged because it will appear in a few cheeapters of Starlight Sorrow.
Two Hearts Parallel
by Sky Blue CMC
Sky's turning gold
And the light's receding
We unite defeating
Welp... here we are, the journey's end, the final showdown!
I know I change favorite songs all the time, but this one is truly beautiful, expect some art inspired by this as soon as I'm done with all the requests!

In the light that falls at moonrise
In the rhythm of the rain
In the miracle of ordinary days
In the hush of night I will be in the whisper of lovers
Everywhere, you will find me there
In the rustle of a curtain
In the bustle of the world
This is the worst song ever made in the world!
As you might recall in my blog a few days ago, I mentioned writing lyrics to an original song. I've tried my hand at song parodies of various forms before, but never an outright original song.
I just watched this, and can't stop listening to it.
I was wondering if anyone would like to see a drinking song in my story. The prisoners will sing it, because most of the changelings in my fanon don't ingest any physical materials. But I might write one just for the heck of it.
Would you like to see a different kind of halfling singing?
I wrote this song called "Inner Flame"
It revolves around someone who's made a terrible mistake that continuously haunts them, all with voices in their head that keep reminding them of that mistake.
[Verse 1]
Driving down a shady road
In the middle of the night
The clock is slowly ticking downwards
As I head off to my flight
[Chorus]
I can't even imagine this pain
That I am forced to contain
(Note: Not ALL songs are finished)
One Day:
Is this how I’m to be remembered?
A sad mistake that goes beyond what I intend?
Is this how I should suffer?
A tainted stain upon what once was pure?
Its best that I should go,
My actions will define me until the wrongs have been made right,
But myself I will not show,
A burden on my shoulders when darkness came to light,
But one day I’ll return,
To see a greener pasture that’s all I hope to find,
One day I will return,
