PETER PARKER/SPIDER-MAN
PETER PARKER/SPIDER-MAN
The 2015 Fantastic Four film is officially now the worst reviewed Marvel film in history, with an abysmal 9% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Apparently, it was so bad that director Josh Trank himself stated on his Twitter:
Since I take turns for weeks at a time working on my various stories, and often have long dearths of activity, what I think I'd like to do, is repost some of my other stuff here in my blogs.
Like my Godzilla/Marvel stuff. Not sure if I want to post actual story chapters here, but it's on the table.
Welcome home, Spidey. You have new neighbors to play with, and the landlord is a lot better about his tenants. Granted, it smells about the same as your old place but that’ll air out if you give it time.
TL;DR - this movie has the unenviable task of making Spider-Man fun and new and interesting and unique after five movies about him already. The odds are against it going in. It passes, at least, but it won’t wow you.
Nothing like celebrating Star Wars day by seeing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3!
The streets of New York City are about to get really... weird.

Prefer Fanfiction? This story is over there too
I was looking up some Marvel Comic today and I came across this comic which interest me.
The saga continues in regards to the utterly disastrous Fantastic Four.
New details have come to life, and well, I'll let the article speak for itself:
Another trailer that I had fun doing. I am so excited for this movie. #Team Iron Man. This trailer is based on the second trailer for Captain America: Civil War, owned by Marvel Studios and Disney respectively.
The trailer begins with a opening shot of a large concrete structure in the middle of frozen tundra.
“This job. We try to save as many people as we can.” Theta begins to voice over, as a royal guard opens a pair of red metal blast doors in the large concrete structure.
Good evening. I got major news about the MCU.
Phase 4 is coming to a close with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Welcome to the rabbit hole, kiddies!
Rumors have begun to float around that the Inhumans film, which had already been pushed back, has been cancelled entirely by Marvel. At this time, we aren't sure if that means the project is 100% dead, or if its simply being removed from the release schedule until they can find a better place for it (namely Phase 4)
Gotta say, that is a bummer.
Netflix Daredevil Season 2 is coming, and because I'm an obsessive bastard, I'm gonna binge watch it.
For that reason I'll take a little break from writing (just a couple of days) just to let DD out of my system.
Otherwise, I'll start making refetences to the show while writing, and we all know we don't need a blind lawyer, a crazy violent vigilante or a greek ninja appearing in my fic.

So, I just saw Captain Marvel with my folks. A few months late, I know but seeing as how I rarely go to the movies I don't think it matters.
The film is essentially a prequel, taking place before Iron Man. But it takes place primarily in 1995, so it takes place AFTER Captain America: The First Avenger, which takes place during World War 2. If you go by that bit of info, the MCU's official timeline would be...
Captain America: The First Avenger
Captain Marvel
Iron Man
