Update for you all... so as to those who know - and those who don't - I've paused on writing because I'm working on my book, yeah that ain't working.
We do not know the exact date of when this NBC affiliate's newscast aired (the video gave us the month, April, and the year, 1988), but it offers plenty of nostalgia from perhaps the most-watched newscast in the Bangor, Maine market.

Hey, it's April Fools! I'm sure you either have been or are going to be inundated in fake story chapters and leaving-the-fandom-goodbye-forever posts, so here's something a bit different.

Well, chapter 24 is done but waiting to be edited. Peers is busy for the week and says that he can't get to it until thr or fri. so... I thought I would help pass the time if I release my April fools joke chapter early. I was going to release this on April 1 as the next chapter but after thinking about it, I thought it might be a bit mean, so here it is in a blog instead. I plagiarized a real story to make this, and I did it all for fun so treat this as a parody.
In case anyone was wondering, I'm not an April Fool's kind of guy. I'm all for a prank every now and then, but I'm not the type of guy to participate in this sort of event. The way I see it, AF Day is a lot like an action movie: Kinda fun to watch, but the moment I try to do what I see myself, I lose an arm or something explodes.
