Turns out Thorax’s leadership woes had more immediate payoff than some of us had anticipated. Let’s see how the changelings are getting along. Or not, as the case may be.
It’s back to the sequential grind for the next four weeks. Funnily enough, Season 8 will start just before I get to the first comic storyline that ties in with Season 7. For now, though, we have a pony thanklessly dealing with a demanding, cantankerous soul. Also Shining Armor and Prince Blueblood.
It’s all about pride this week, from Applejack defending the sanctity of her orchard to two of the show’s biggest egos colliding and collaborating. Let’s see if these issues have anything to be proud of.
This week, we have one of those awkward one-shot main issues wedged between an even number of one-shots and a multi-issue storyline. Thus, we’re going half-and-half on this one and throwing in a Friends Forever as well. Let’s begin.
It’s about time we got back to focusing on the Student Six. We're an episode behind the point that Season 5 gave us the first two-pony map mission, so we're overdue on the show revisiting this season’s new gimmick.
It’s Christmas Eve. When better to review a holiday special, especially one that isn’t trying to pull double duty as a cyberbullying PSA?
This week, we’re focusing on some of the more unusual characters. Whether through species, tribe, or humor, these characters are far from the average pony.
Specifically, halfling-centric DnD-based erotica.

Hi how are ya?
Real quick, I wanted to address a question that may be on your minds: Where the hell are the updates?! At the beginning of the year, I believe I said something like this:
First and foremost I intend to finish Gangs and Monsters, ideally while 2018 is still young.
The two hundredth episode! Such wonder! Such promise!
Of course I had to go get my car’s brakes replaced that morning!
We return to the Legends of Magic miniseries, with the other two "Campfire Tales" lead-up issues. Let's see what tales lie forgotten.
Most of you don’t know this, but I’m one of those people who thrive off of the salt haters get for things like Pokemon and Final Fantasy. I’m not a genwunner or the kind of person that goes “FF7 is the only FF that should exist”, but there is something funny about watching something I want get shown while others wither in pain at it’s existance. If you don’t like it, give me a better reason than “Gen 1 did this” or “FF7 is surperior because it just is” and I’ll give you a pass. Don’t and
In this final week before we go back to long-form animation for a while, we conclude the story of the young trainer Stygian as he tries to assemble a Ponymon team capable of taking on a legendary trio.
What? He is putting together a group of six.
This week, we’re branching out a little, to a library under a tree and the story that the RCL very scientifically determined was the best story on the site. Spoilers ahead for TEL and the early bits of TEK.
Before we cover the OEL manga, let’s look at one from Japan. You can actually find most of this one at varying levels of translation on Derpibooru, but that’s no reason not to dig into it. Let’s begin.
Just because I’ve found Pony Life deeper than expected doesn’t mean I’m going to put other media aside. I’m absolutely finishing off Friendship is Forever, and I just started that manga storyline. We have a triple rotation for the next few months, and next up is the Rainbow Dash clip show.
When last we left the manga, Pinkie hadn’t quite grasped that she was in a time loop, opting for the far more logical conclusion that the entire town was pranking her. Let’s see what it takes to disabuse her of that notion.
