So, it's been almost two weeks and not much has changed since I've released the story. While it was doing fine for the first half of the arc, it's becoming painfully clear to me that (almost) nobody is enjoying the story dispite me advertising it and while not perfect, it seems nobody is in the horror mood. Hi all! I hope everyone has been doing well. Just wanted to let you all know that I've finally begun work on the next Synchrony chapter; those familiar with my usual writing rotation will know that once it's finished, I'll be working on a chapter of Sunset in Ponyville next. I just kicked writer's block's butt! I actually spent the entire day writing! And it was the best day I've had in months!

At the start of the day, I had about 800 words written. As of right now, I have finished the first draft of the rewrite of chapter 2!

And this isn't just a rehash of what originally happened in chapter 2. This version is way better! That's why I rewrote it! Stuff actually happens now!

I was asked by somebody I sadly can't remember right now why I don't do weekly updates on story status when I have that status box.

This is going to sound slightly rude, but writing Status blogs like this bores me, and I can't even quite make a form for it since I so often need to add why things have either stalled or jumped ahead. Normally in about half a dozen stories as well, and checking word counts over that many documents adds up in time.

I am now officially finished writing the first chapter of my clopfic. Now I only need to go over it and make sure it doesn't look like it was written by a five year old.

It's a solid five thousand words, mostly setting the scene for our hapless protagonist. It starts out with the main character already having been in Equestria for a while, so there's a little bit of scene building that needs to be done.
