I was asked by somebody I sadly can't remember right now why I don't do weekly updates on story status when I have that status box.
This is going to sound slightly rude, but writing Status blogs like this bores me, and I can't even quite make a form for it since I so often need to add why things have either stalled or jumped ahead. Normally in about half a dozen stories as well, and checking word counts over that many documents adds up in time.
Still, I do know it can be quite frustrating as a reader to have no clue when the next update is coming, so I'm still going to give it at least a short-term try and see how it goes. Might move back to when asked slash an update has dropped or try bi-weekly instead, but we'll see what the response is.
Chapter 07 is at 18781 + 397 words, still unsure about the percent done.
Yeah, still unsure. Quite a bit past that 12 ~K line I mentioned last time.
Might be some cuts before this sees the light of day, yeah, but I'd thought you guys still might like an update when things have moved forward by that much.

Yeah, my muse might be a bit start/stop sometimes, but when she starts to move she starts to move. Not going to deny that.
Helps a bit inspiration wise that we're finally moving into the answers and solutions phase instead of more and more problems piling on. That I'll be able to slowly wind down all the dodging and half-answers in the comments a nice bonus as well.
