Well, that was an absurdly long mini hiatus, but the wait is over and the 100th episode has arrived!
This episode was penned by fan favorite writer M. A. Larson, and he promised us an episode that the fandom would love. Did he deliver, or did he somehow screw up? Well, it's time to find out.

Well, I'm sure by now many of you have either seen the leaked English version from the Brazilian broadcast a week ago, or the official Netflix release that came out yesterday. For those of who you still haven't because you're waiting on the DVD release (there's no word on when or if it'll get a television broadcast):
Time to kick off the seventh season for what is going to be a VERY big year for the franchise. In addition to a full 26 episode season, we've got the big movie due out this October, and over the Summer we've got three Equestria Girls 22 minute specials that will be released on Netflix (no word on whether or not this is a test for a possible spin-off series, or just a one-off experiment to keep the franchise going). First and foremost, I know this is the first of pretty much every episode for the rest of the season that has aired early in Canada ("Forever Filly" airs in Canada today and tomorrow "Parental Glidance" will air in Canada), but my policy in regards to them, unless I say otherwise, is as follows:
*Sigh*. Wow, just wow. I can't believe that the 150th episode of the show, turned out to be like this. And from a writer who all by accounts, should've been much better suited to the task. We've got our first Rainbow Dash episode of the season, which coincidentally is in the same slot as "Newbie Dash" last season, and features The Wonderbolts (as well as Scootaloo). The new writer is Josh Hamilton, who previously wrote for Avatar: The Last Airbender, Avatar: The Legend
Well after watching this last episode of Game of Thrones, I have decided that Cersei will be taking up Ramsay's role as the Celestia of GoT.
Seriously, that is almost exactly what Celestia would have done in her position. She even has her own Dr. Stable helping her! He loves children and everything!

I wont lie, Season 5 almost made me lose interest in MLP for various reasons (Season 4 didn't really help either)...but gosh darn it I loved the first episode of Season 6! I loved it so much, all I can say is that I will not officially attempt to make a blog post for each new episode regarding my thoughts on them. Of course, I'll wait for the first episode to get some traction and have others watch it.
Well, pony is back on Netflix, all seven seasons of it. And now it's just a matter of waiting for the U.S. to catch up on episodes now that Australia and Canada have aired the last episodes of Season 8 early. With Season 8 bobbing up and down in quality but finally seeming to be on a consistent track after the last two episodes, Kaita Mpambara who gave us "Horse Play" returned to write this episode. Since "Horse Play" remains the best episode of Season 8 so far, was Kaita able to follow up on
So we've got our third map mission of the season and it's the only one to use a mane six pairing. I'd be way more excited if not for "Surf and/or Turf" and "The Parent Map" making it clear that the map is now nothing more than a cheap plot device the writers can use to call whoever they want for no rhyme or reason. At least early on the rules of the map seemed clear, it could only call those tied directly to the Elements of Harmony, Spike actually made more sense than Starlight since he had his
Almost everything you write where there’s a conflict between two characters can be thought of as a combination of a fight and a dialogue, and those two things are really different ways of describing the same thing. When two characters cross swords, it’s just a way of talking out their differences with action, and when two characters get into a screaming match or a debate, that’s no different from a boxing match.

I'm going to keep using the spoilers tag even if it's probably not needed, simply because I don't know how many people are waiting on U.S. airdates and how many have already seen the Australian airings.
