Today will begin HRPC con here at the Barcast. What the fuck is that, you may ask? Well, High Roller Pony Con is a Las Vegas pony convention happening May 31st to June 2nd, 2018. And yeah, they have all their ducks in a row, unlike previous Las Vegas conventions, believe it or not. Their mission is to create an awesome con experience, with guests, with panels, with all that good stuff, while allowing you to see everything Vegas has to offer. It's pretty sweet!

OKAY, so what does that have to do with the Barcast, you may ask? Well, starting today, we'll be interviewing individuals from their staff and talent, many of whom have done big and awesome things for the fandom. And next weekend, we'll be doing something we've never done before: INTERVIEWING SOMEONE WHO IS A VA FOR THE SHOW!!!!
It is with great pride and terror that we announce, that on January 13th, we will be interviewing BILL NEWTON!
Bill Newton is an Australian actor, voice actor and writer, working in Vancouver, British Columbia. You may recognize Bill Newton as the voice of "Bright Mac," Applejack & Apple Bloom's father as well as "Pharynx," brother to Thorax, and the pony of friggin shadows! His talent does not begin and end with My Little Pony though. He is also known for his work on Grey Goo, an RTS video game, as well as Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Shadow Sun, and Beyblade Burst.
Bill’s background in theatre, singing, and musicianship have prepared him for anything coming his way, and he can’t wait to take on as many new and interesting roles as the world will throw at him! Bill likes traveling, video games, Scotch whiskey and cats.
Are you excited yet? Because it's time to get excited. Like, flailingly accidentally puke from nerves excited. We know we're already at that point. We'll have more information on that show next week, so stay tuned.
