I mostly meant this group to be for stories that are cute, adorable, fluffy, heartwarming, an' such, so I haven't really put up any rules yet about what's allowed and wasn't. I noticed a few coming in that were about ponies wearing diapers that were kinda older than pound and pumpkin. That's not really something I'd usually read, but I can see where somepony might find that cute.

I'd just like some opinions on whether they should be allowed in, removed, or put in their own folder.

Also, any other types of fanfics you think shouldn't be allowed in? Obviously gore is mostly out, and clop I was figuring could only go into the one folder marked for it, and has to be cute, adorable, fluffy, etc.

Just thought I'd discuss it here before deciding what to do...

It's not all that common, but there are things out there like Sunshine and Fluffy Clouds or Throb out there. The latter barely qualifies for the mature and sex tags, really, and isn't out and out clop.

The Twilight's Library standards for clop are that they have to have good plot development and characterizations, be fairly funny, be well written, or be "ridiculously cute", which is one reason it's not a very large section there.

3670980 My personal opinion, no clop. Period. To be as unbiased as I can, it's too iffy to try to find "cute clop." Plus, I don't think it fits the theme of the group in general. You could have a submission folder if you really needed it. Have a couple of admins or contributors look over a story and see if it qualifies for the group. You could not allow mature stories as a whole, but that's up to you.

I find it hard to understand people. I couldn't care less about clop. So long as it's sequestered in some folder I'll never touch, it certainly isn't going to bother me. Let the people who actually partake in that sort of thing decide. They're the only ones who are going to be affected.

Well, if arcum42's recommending it, it probably is. There'd just been enough members suggesting not having clop in the group that I've been trying to decide whether to keep the folder or not, so I hadn't put anything in there yet.

Also, I normally don't have Mature on, so I'd have to turn it on, add it, then turn it off, or ask arcum to add it.

Well, you know, you could either make the folder require you to be a contributor or admin. That way you've got some of the issues with inappropriate things being put in it taken away.

And you can always make me a backup admin if you want, like I am for the Sweetie Belle group, and I'll go ahead and add anything I personally think is appropriate.

I'm okay with stuff that qualifies as "cute porn" in the dedicated clop folder, but there's some stuff that I personally have a problem with. As I hinted at in my earlier comment, I really don't think diaper fics have a place here. Foals are cute. Grown ponies becoming children again? Potential to be cute. Loss of bowel control? Not cute in the least. Poop isn't light, and if what's coming out your butt is fluffy, you need to see a doctor.
