When your life is as dull a gray as the world that surrounds you, the mundanities can make it all seem meaningless. Sometimes all we need is a little color -- or six -- to reintroduce us to what truly makes life worth living.

In Zebrica, they are legends. The Eyes of the Demon, an artifact of immense magical power and insane destructive potential. For untold centuries they have been hidden away, only a few knowing their true location and awesome power.

Even Daring Do herself tries to write off the legends of the Eyes as little more than myths. But when a zebra warlord learns of their location, it's up to Daring to recover the Eyes of the Demon before this agent of strife can harness the power to destroy nations.

In this story, the young archaeologist pony Daring Do teams up with an expedition seeking the ancient ruins of Zenith- a temple wrapped in South Equestrian mythology that has never been seen in recorded history. Plans for the expeditions all go to pieces as another party seeking to find the ruins for their own reasons soon present themselves: The Gryphons.

Aggressive and militaristic, the Gryphons seek the ruins to show that their species ruled over the continent during early history, proving their species' superiority. The interaction between the ponies and the gryphons does not go well, and Daring is left on her own, alone in the jungle. Will she be able to get back to safety? Will she be able to rescue her captive comrades? Just what are the trials of Zenith? Find out in this thrilling tale.

Daring Do travels off to a distant land where she hopes to uncover a city lost beneath the desert sands, but in doing so runs into a foe more dangerous than she could ever imagine, that foe being none other than Daring Do herself.

Daring recruits her old rival Bravado to help her track down and assemble pieces of an ancient Wizard's legendary staff in time for a Solar Eclipse that will supposedly grant awesome power to its wielder.
