We have a number of ongoing missions, our most recent being the establishment of a mobile research lab on the planet Marecury. For the last two months the crew have been in constant communication with our main hub back here in Equestria, but about three hours ago we lost contact. The lab is a mobile platform in constant motion to stay out of sunlight, as the heat of daylight on Marecury would destroy it in minutes. Our satellites show it has stopped moving. Only you can get there before the next sunrise.'

We have been assisting with the evacuation of all settlements in the vicinity of Mount Kraken, a volcano that has been ejecting ash for several hours now. The cloud already covers an area hundreds of miles wide, but we expect a full-scale eruption very soon. We have had to abandon our rescue efforts due to increasing seismic activity, but there is still a small group of ponies unaccounted for. Our reports indicate they were hiking near the mountain, but we can find no sign of them. Time is short, can you help us?'

'Calling Equestrial Rescue, this is the EQCGC Thresher of the Equestrian Coast Guard. We are currently on-scene with the cruise ship M.S. Celestial, which has now capsized. We were called to evacuate the passengers due to engine trouble which was being exacerbated by typhoon-force weather conditions, but the engines exploded and the ship turned onto its side before we could finish our operation. Though the majority of passengers were successfully evacuated, we believe a family of four are still on board. Equestrial Rescue, if you can hear us, please acknowledge this transmission.'

'Calling Equestrial Rescue, this is Deepsea Echo laboratory currently operating out of the Mareiana Trench. We were hit by some unpredicted seismic activity and in our attempt to evacuate, one of the escape pods malfunctioned. To our best understanding the docking clamps have failed to release fully but the water seal between the doors has breached, so we're trapped inside the pod. The lab is at a depth of six point eight nautical miles and the pod only has an oxygen supply to last us a few hours. Please, Equestrial Rescue if you can hear this message... help us. You're our only hope.'
