BABS and an Update! · 10:22pm Sep 3rd, 2022
Heya, Folks!
It's been just over a month since my last blog, and I've got some news! Since I got to meet a bunch of cool peeps there this year, I'm heading back to BABS next year! I know it's a ways off, but for those of you that might want to get a high-level sponsor ticket, those sell out pretty quickly, as do the hotel rooms after the block discount code has been released (which it hasn't yet, but still), so keep your eyes peeled!
I'm also happy to say that after a long time, and even though I've been busting my butt trying to prep and furnish my new condo (I need at least one couch available for when NavelColt comes to visit in October), I finally got a little spark of inspiration and have continued writing DaD's prequel, A Patient and Her Nurse (hence the reason for the story tag). I don't know how much I've already said about it, but unlike what's been going on with DaD, the prequel isn't going to be released until it's completely finished. Good thing, too, because there's been a LOT of rewriting lately, which I realize was what I really needed to get out of my funk.
I've also been trying to hop into my other future (basically finished) chapters of DaD in between (which I've mentioned multiple times, so that's nothing new), so after all the minute touches I keep making, hopefully those'll be nice and refined for my editor when I'm ready for him to look at things. And speaking of editing, because I want to focus on the few things that need my immediate attention, I won't be accepting new editing requests from anyone on the site for a while, paid or otherwise.
