Rebirth of the Damned UPDATE?! Whaaaaaat? · 1:56pm Aug 14th, 2022
Yeah, so, been a while, huh?
I'm pleased to let you know that the next chapter for Rebirth of the Damned is finished, finally. Aaaaand so is another one. Yep, got 2 chapters ready, the second one just needs my editing team to finish going over it.
How come I hadn't posted the first one, though? Well, because I wanted to publish several chapters all at once, for several reasons. First being the long break Rebirth had. The second being that... those chapters are very short. Like, they are the shortest chapters I wrote for Rebirth of the Damned since November 2013! Now I could combined them into a single chapter, and I am still playing with that thought, but I have been hoping to finally learn to write shorter chapters, in order to improve my publishing pace and to avoid burning myself out like I had half a year ago thanks to writing two Infinite Potential chapters back to back (for those of you who hadn't checked out that story yet, the chapters there are ofter around 20k words long). So it is possible that from now on chapters will be shorter, but should come out more often (well, not as often as back in 2012 or 2013, but at the very least I should be able to not have a year long break!).
Anyways, I had hoped to have 3 chapters ready before I'd publish them, probably with 2 day intervals between them, but to be honest I am not quite sure when I'll get around to writing the 3rd chapter. Had more work as of late, making me exhausted and wanting to just kick back and relax rather than write, I have 2 cats now which take up some of my time as well, I returned to reading my favorite book series and I want to read it over and over and caused me to want to write a fanfiction about them as I've been raving about in my blog posts (; actually another reason why I am unsure when the next chapter will be ready, I want to finally get around to writing that other fanfiction, spend like 6 months now planning it), with Wrath of the Lich King Classic coming up I've been trying to wrap up some things on my main and level up alts, and I also recently started a new Nuzlocke (aaand already lost 2 Pokemon).
Soo, I dunno, would you guys rather wait like another month maybe to get 3 chapter in a row, or would you rather get now-ish (sometime next week) 2 chapters, first one and 2 days later another?

Its Alive ITS ALIIIIVVVEEEE also I for one know I can wait as i just finished reading the older chapters fairly recently.
I had assumed that you stopped writing it because WOW hasn't had good expansions in years, and Bliz shit the bed a lot in recent memory.
Gimme those chapters!! I dont care if they are way shorter, as long as they come out at regular pace.
On one hand I would love for new chapters as soon as possible, but on the other hand it's been long enough that what's a bit more time.
For real though don't worry about forcing chapters out and be guilty about all the very, very reasonable distractions. To try a force, this type of story out when he just don't have the passion in the moment is worse than not releasing for a long periods of time. So do what you need to do and if it's ready it's ready. If not, oh well. Do what YOU believe what you need to do.
Take your time. We're not going anywhere.
I'm not currently following the story and don't have input on the update pattern, sorry, but good luck with things in general!

Waited this long can wait some more. Though I am hoping Fluttershy can come to terms with what Arthas did as the lich king. I hope, some time in the future, Frostemourne finds it's way to equestria. Nothing could prepare the ponies for that, a sword that has altered the history of Azeroth like that blade has.
