QCC ~ General Update

Happy New Year, everyone!

I've been busy with the holidays, at work, and other things that I haven't had much time to really work on my projects. I've also been prepping for the new year curriculum, I plan on learning Python, some mathematics, and other things I might be interested in. My new year's resolution is to be [marginally] productive. I'm easing into it slowly. I've rediscovered a passion for math and maybe going metric has something to do with it; seriously, SI is one of those things that once you adopt it, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. Going forward, you can probably expect to see metric units in my works, it's just better (sorry fellow Americans).

Anyway, so what can you expect from me going forward? Honestly, probably little change. I only do this as a hobby so I only work on these projects when I have both the time and energy in between learning and working. I'm trying to get into a regular sleep schedule so I can get work done in the mornings when I have a fresh and energized mindset, so hopefully I can expect a bit more (when it's ball chillingly cold anyway). Over the past year I've only drawn maybe two or three drawings and that's really left a bad taste in my mouth. I've uploaded more chapters in the past year than I have in the previous 5, so that's something I like.

As for QCC I apologize for the lack of updates. Aside from work and personal life taking priority, I've been doing some restructuring of the plot I had outline and many changes were made behind the scenes. As such, I've been having to put off the actual writing in order to plan and think. The current chapter I'm working on is almost done, with any luck you can expect it before the end of January. I've also been quietly working on a non-pony project, I want to try and put some of it out elsewhere, likely DeviantART or maybe a personal website once I get some development experience (aka Wordpress). Maybe I should take a marketing course...

I don't have any updates concerning ESZ. I know that's what's drawn a lot of people to me. I'm sorry. At this point, the most desirable path for continuing that story is a spiritual successor. I do have one in the works, I just need to sit down and plan it when I get the chance. I do think at least someone will enjoy what I have in mind.

Lastly, I just want to wish everyone a good day and hopefully this year treats us a bit better. Stay safe, stay healthy, we'll survive.
