Hey everyone. Been awhile hadn't it? Belated Happy Independence day for my fellow Americans.
So I'm gonna level with you. QCC hasn't made much progress. I've overhauling some of the plans I had for the later portion of the story and that's involving me restructuring my plans for Episode 06 and the few chapters after. Besides the complexity that goes into it, I'm also suffering from writers block and have also been focusing on my IT studies along with work, both of which have left me with little energy to invest into this side hobby of mine.
As a result, I'm thinking of switching it up a bit, longtime fans of ESZ may or may not like this news. I think I finally have an idea as to how I can lead into the rewrite at last and I want to take a crack at it. I feel some may not necessarily agree with what I have planned, so I'm considering this: I'd like to write a chapter with the idea, set up the setting, showcase the direction I intend to go, and get a bit of feedback where possible. I have a vision in mind and while I will take some critiques into mind, I want to fit what I can with the ideas I've been thinking about on and off these past years. If nothing else than I hope to finally put the project behind me for good so it isn't leaving everyone (myself included) left hanging on a story that's in a state of limbo.
I'll draft up a chapter as a proof of concept and go from there. If it seems to draw enough interest, I'll go full in on it. I don't want to make any promises, but I'm cautiously optimistic. Really, the fact this project has been left unfinished for so long has always bugged me.
