Happy Wednesday from Japan, y'all. Just hit the publish button on a story idea I'd been sitting on for a few years that I just never wrote. After Chapter 15 was delayed, I knew it'd also delay 16, so I wanted to get something I knew wouldn't take me as long to write out, and this silly X becomes an Alicorn one-shot fit that mold pretty nicely. It's a dumb, random comedy that was a lot of fun to get out of my system after I remembered the idea when I was considering what to I could do in a short turn around. And please forgive the click-baity title. I thought of the title and the situation before even knowing that was going to happen with it. Also, if you check out the Author's Notes, I was torn between linking the source of the inspiration for the fic and a fitting song. I included both, but the song is only a hyperlink to save on space.

I'm still on winter break from teaching, so hopefully if I batten down the hatches, I can get ahead of Electro Swing by a fair bit so I won't keep hitting so many snags in the weekly release schedule. If it keeps being a problem, I might just shift to a bi-weekly release since the writing has slowed down as the story becomes more and more complicated to juggle. Should I write this part now or save it for later? Can I squeeze a nugget of information there? Is that nugget even worth pursuing? Etcetera, etcetera... So I will try to gain some ground and stay ahead of the release schedule as it is now without making any changes in my plans for Electro Swing.
With this out of the way, I can give my full attention to 16—and 17, fingers crossed—of Electro Swing before next Wednesday. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy what I write.
