I finally got some writing done this week with one more cupcake in the oven.

Halloween Special!
So over on the Fim Fiction server I got to brainstorming with the Gen-5 channel, including AuroraDawn and n3k1dsk1llz. We want to see Halloween style horror fics for each of the mane 5 at the end of the month. So now we've got fics for Sunny, Hitch, and Zipp covered. (Go check their blogs for info if you're curious what they are up to.)
That leaves Pipp and Izzy if anyone out there wants to join the Horror-train with us and fill the front page with Horror fics on Halloween.
I'm going for Hitch, and taking some classic Horror Films like Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds", and Lovecraft, as inspiration. (And a few other movies.) So I should be able to deliver on a nice classic Horror story, but also sneak the cosmic horror in, and get something the likes of which the site's not seen for a long time... I don't want to call it the next "Puppet to her Fame", but when have I ever not wrote a check my ass can't cash? 
Unicorn Cupcakes
Wait, let me explain! 
So I've had some friends and fans asking for a Gen 5 cupcake fic, probably as a joke, so I wrote Grinded Pony Hooves which looks, smells, and sounds like cupcakes... but is actually about an oblivious Izzy giving Hitch a hooficure.
Of course, the fandom's bloodlust was insatiable and even reminding them about "Smile HD" did little to sate their thirst. So I wrote actual satisfactual Cupcakes for Gen 5, which you can make the misfortune of clicking above.
So, now I can go back to focus on my fluffy stories, until someone tries to talk me into remaking Beat the Heat for gen 5... no, please, don't encourage me to write a comedy clopfic about the mane 5 getting it on, I would totally refuse...
Story Guide
I made a blog specifically to be a sort of curated tour through my 50+ stories, in the hopes that people didn't read a nice fluffy fic and then click into the wrong 2013 story.
Ponified Without Consent 2
5 pov's... anyway, that means probably 3-5 of those PoV's showing how they cope in ponyville on their own, before regrouping for the work/school week. I have plans for their weekends. I may try not showing 1-to-1 every single pony's PoV every single day as I can already see how that will bog the story down. I'll figure something out. But I definitely have amazing arcs for Apple Bloom and Scootaloo that definitely need to be shown while they are "separated" from each other due to being grounded.
Twilight's Dollhouse 2
This was always one of my favorite 'children' so I want to finish it, I just am suffering from a bit of GRRM syndrome when it comes to the writing of corners into which I can not escape. But it's nothing to be worried about, the outlines solid it's the scene-by-scene level that I'm still fiddling with.
Up Next:
I'll be splitting time between my Halloween Hitch story, DoH3, the short Fluttershy fic, PWC2, and Twilight's Dollhouse 2. I don't know why I do this to myself, but I do, so here's hoping the caffeine level in my blood stays at dangerously elevated levels for the foreseeable future.
Reading Recommendations
A Witch In Broad Daylight If you want a light-hearted, interesting Halloween fic (like pony zombies that don't eat brains because vegetarians, so they don't actually cause a zombie apocolypse)
Twilight Gets a Puppy - a "fix it fic" that re-writes the series as a "what if Twilight had gotten a puppy when she hatched spike". It may sound a little odd, but I could tell once I got into the fic that "This author bucks".
Forgotten and it's sequel If you want a good fanon "What happened between gen 4 and 5" series. Also, the author agreed to share the blame for Unicorn Cupcakes idea, so really, it's all his fault.
