I don’t think it’s too spoilery to say that Tuckpoint (the pony OC) is named after tuckpointing, which is a style of mortaring.

This is just the type of story the contest was made for; a pony on Earth doing a job that I bet most of us would never even think of*. It’s certainly not something I would have though of, although of course it’s a necessary job.

It’s set in New Orleans, which I’ll be honest feels to me like a city ponies would be drawn to. Sadly, I’ve never been there, although I have a friend who lives there and wouldn’t leave it for the world.
