Hello, everyone. Sorry for the long silence, but I am still alive, believe it or not.
I recently entered the microfiction contest on Jimbutcher.com and to my surprise actually won. The story I wrote is titled 'Hogs Wilds' and the prompt was 1500 or less words about a birthday or holiday in the Dresdenverse. I'll also upload it to my fanfiction.net account since, being a story that does not feature any ponies, it would not fit here.
Now, to the news that most people probably care more about, I am currently working on the next chapter of Great Power. Being a pharmacist meant a lot more shifts and stress once Covid hit, and less time at home, so I've been shorter on writing time than usual these past several months. I am getting a brief respite before we rev up to distribute the new vaccines so I'm trying to get everything written and together in the next week or so. Hopefully, I can but if not, rest assured it is coming eventually. Once I start a story I will finish it, I just may end up making y'all wait an unreasonable amount of time for it.

Congrats. I'm not surprised at all, all those jokes about you actually being Jim Butcher in the comments weren't for nothing; you do a great job of capturing his style.
I'm glad to hear Great Power is still going, though, it's probably my longest time incomplete followed fic on this entire site. And given the show being over I was far from sure how many of those would ever get returned to.

Always glad to hear from an author. I think the worst for me is when stories just go all quiet, like with "Hail to the King".
Wait a minute. Christmas isn't until next week. Second best news, behind vaccines in the pipeline, that I've heard this month.

Congratulations! That was a great short story! On the other hand it shoots the theory you were Butcher anonymously writing My Little Pony fanfics. What a shame. On the other hand you won a Harry Dresden fan fiction contest by Jim Butcher, so no one has to feel bad about the mistake. So did that get your creative juices going for the next chapter of The Dresden Fillies Great Power?
