Official Patreon Announcement Plus Dead by Midnight! · 1:20am Nov 3rd, 2020
Alright, y'all, I've literally been talking about this crap for a year but I'm finally launching my Patreon. There are a few reasons for this, but one of the biggest is that, frankly, I really do want to be a writer. I want to write for all of you, every single one of you, who has support me since I first started posting here. You all seem to be fans of my work and want to see more of it, well, I want you all to see it. But at the same time, that means I need to get serious about this. I need to actually take the steps to make this my life, and that means actually drawing some kind of income from it to hopefully, one day, actually step away from my job and into doing writing full time.
The good news is that all of you who know my writing style knows that you are not going to be starved for content. You all know how fast I write. I cranked out the SunFlower cycle in two-ish months. That's (conservatively speaking) a novel's worth of words. There's actually going to be a good amount of content spread through my Patreon and I'll be going over it all with you.
First off, I'll say that every single tier gets an absolute minimum of one post of content unique to that tier per month, but given my output speed don't be surprised if you get more, because let's face it, you will. Secondly, every Patreon subscriber will get to comment on the stuff I post to me. If you have suggestions, then let's hear'em! Thirdly, every tier will get a big discount on my novels when I self-publish them.
On to the nit & grit.
1st Tier subscribers get access to my short stories as I post them.
2nd Tier subscribers get access to the shorts, plus chapters of the novel I'm working on, Bare Knuckles & Butterflies. I'll post a minimum of one chapter a month as I sweep, tidy, and edit it.
3rd Tier subscribers get all of the above, plus I'm going to be carefully going through all of my prior fanfiction works, editing them, and formatting them into 6x9, serif font, styles that are ready and able to be put into print on demand. Anyone at that tier will get access to those finished products in the form of downloadable PDFs that can be printed at your leisure, or just read in a more font-friendly style.
Finally, we move on to Dead by Midnight. Obviously, any help you want to kick me on Patreon will give me more and more freedom to work on this, because I'm not gonna lie, this story is shaping up to be a bit of a beast. I work so much more now than I did when I wrote Featherfall, so it's going to be another labor of love, but believe me I'm in it for the long haul. I'm going to start posting Dead by Midnight once every other week, starting next week.
That's right, the long-awaited sequel to Dead by Sunset is finally ready to fire.
With that said, whether or not you're subscribing to my Patreon, whether or not you throw money at me, I will always write for you folx, alright? I love writing, and I love that so many of you love my writing style. I write because I love to do it, I just also want to make it the cornerstone for keeping myself fed and housed if at all possible so that I can devote even more time to giving you all things to read.
At the end of the day, I'm not really a writer or an author.
I'm a storyteller.
I'm going to tell you stories no matter what.

Its canon that the entity goes to several worlds to grab killers/survivors, are you going to use crossover characters (or at least have a mention of them) in the story?

Currently my plan is to stick with the ones that BHVR has released rather than making my own custom killers in order to keep it as compliant with the source world as possible.
