It's currently September 21st where I am, for at least another 5 hours or so. But, I am a impatient man. And Halloween, the Undisputed Best Holiday Ever deserves to be celebrated more often than once a year! So, I am starting my season early. I've already got a bag of horrible, horrible, wonderful candy corn by my side, and I'm listening to the Luigi's Mansion and Beetlejuice soundtracks on loop til November. I'm forgoing wearing a costume this year, since... well, the obvious.
I'd only just joined the fandom last year in time for this most wonderful of celebrations, and I was inspired by FanOfMostEverything then to change up my avatar to something... appropriate for the season. If you'll notice, I found the perfect one.
It's perfect. She's perfect!
Two bits of news. First of all, I've been trying to cook up a Halloween story since Pride Month, this year... and it has only just gotten some legs under it. I can't promise it'll be done by the time Halloween is over, but I can promise... that I'll try, damnit. But the story itself is handling some heavy themes, needs to introduce a bunch of worldbuilding in a satisfying and non-intrusive way, and features a cameo from another author's OC, so my stress and anxiety at trying to juggle all that's been making the process slow and painful for a while now.
Second... I feel like being a little more interactive this year. So, possibly for the first and last time, I will be doing an AMA! I am a private person, and so I tend not to open up about stuff. But, one time only, please post your questions for me in the comments below!
I cannot promise that my answers will be anything more than cryptic lies, damned lies, and outright fabrications... and I really thought that sentence was going somewhere. So, ask away, but don't expect the truth.

Well, where I'm from, Halloween isn't celebrated but All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day on November 1 and 2 respectively. Christmas is my favorite holiday, actually (and New Year's is a close second). Still, I like the idea of getting free candy and dressing up in costumes (and hey, it's a good excuse for pony cosplay!) And that'll be where my first question lies: Why do you like Halloween above all?
Second, it seems like you love Trixie above all when it comes to ponies or other Equestrian characters. Why is that? Or how did you come to like Trixie a lot?
And I'm not sure if you've answered this before but how did you become a fan of Friendship is Magic and join this community?

A theme for each month of the year! But my advice, wait till October. You don't want it to end up like Christmas where my local mall is already kitted out in glitter and ornaments the day before Halloween. And Christmas is my favourite holiday of the year, but you have to wait till advent man, don't do Emmanuel dirty like that. looks intensly at the store
