MLP Gameloft Game - My Ponyville · 2:00am Nov 24th, 2012
So with some time, energy, money, and some hacking (changing the system clock in airplane mode and the PonyLiberator.exe from Reddit), this is the Ponyville I've managed to build in the Gameloft MLP game.
This has all the shops and all the ponies, including Luna. Though, I will say, you likely won't be able to find everypony. Why? Because to make this single giant image I took about two dozen pictures using the iPad's screenshot feature and then had to stitch them all together in photoshop. Because of this, and because the ponies in this game don't like to stay in the same place for more than five seconds, some ponies managed to avoid the camera while others got captured multiple times. Other still are partially captured because they were on the edge of the frame when screenshots were captured.
And thus, after all the time and energy I put into this, I decided to capture it all in case something happens and I loose my save. (Knowing my luck, highly possible.)
So, what do you think of my Ponyville?

No, it's not canon. This is just how I thought things looked nice (canon would require a means of putting Zecora in the everfree forest and would require so many apple trees.)

Keep in mind that the galaxy tab ( 10.1 in my case) does NOT support this game! Strangely enough, my stratosphere does.

I don't want to give out specific instructions on how I beat the system (aka hack).
But I can tell you this. Ponies that you supposidly have to win (Like Time Turner and Trixie) can be bought for coin values if you put your device into Airplane mode. This makes it so the game can't access the internet and thus it defaults to its internal price list. The internal price list allows you to buy Time Turner and Trixie instead of having to win them at the balloon pop.

I would try for something like this too but playing this game is pretty much impossible without the hack, I'm sorry to say.

Don't be sorry, blame Gameloft. This is a money grab. When it could take you decades, yes decades, to finish the game without spending a dime, something is wrong. And I gave them some money before finding out about some of the more outrageous gem prices. So I've paid the piper and now I use the hack to get my ponies.
My Ponyville looks more like Pinkie's childhood rock farm than Ponyville... What with all the huge boulders requiring 16k bits to clear lying everywhere. =/

While it is obvious... I didn't knew it would take decades to win game for free.
Maybe it is just me, but 50 bits per min + 100 bits per 2 min + 150 bits per 3 min equals nice income. Most of the stuff can be bought with coins (except few chars) and maybe I am just lucky because I had good drop of elements.
By playing 30 min (max) a day I got 10 Generosity elements within two days. Odd.
Anyway, great city. ^_^
Considering the size, I think it is possible to make mostly show-like Ponyville with time and hax.
Also. How did you get your ponies to move?
Mine only stand and (if live in same house) talk to each other.
Well, occasionally Pinkie Pie looks at screen and points at it to Mrs Cake. Mr Cake also sometimes notices it and looks, but looks away fast. Was that intentional from devs?

Well, I guess that is to be expected. More attention to those who has higher chance to pay.
Oh and buildings that have no pony working in them also gave money after some period of time without logging into game.
Found Rarity's dad talking to Blueblood (by the blue jester hat building), should be an interesting conversation.
Oh, and Blueblood's walking away from Fancypants for some reason (between Carousel Boutique and Quills and Sofas). I wonder why he can't get a break here.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, your artistry in creating Ponyville puts my own game to shame.
I really hope to one day put together something even half as impressive, but not sure my interest in the game will hold out long enough to acquire everything legitimately, and short of the airplane glitch, I'm hesitant to exploit this game. I might not even be able to finish this game anyway, as a glitch deleted Fluttershy from the shop.
...My Ponyville is laggy, dirt broke, and nowhere NEAR as nice as yours.

My Ponyville was deleted off my phone a while ago, after I realized that my time and money were better spent on practically anything else.
(Though of course that's subjective.)
