I managed to successfully write a new chapter of "Mother X: Father" tonight, and I am exceptionally proud of it...and myself for getting it out.
On an unrelated note, a friend of mine has been trying to get me into Warhammer 40K a lot recently. While I'm not that heavily into it, a few things in the lore have clicked with me as a writer...and for those of my fans who also know the lore, given how many of my readers react any time I update after a long gap, what would you say to a name change? (maybe joking)
get a new chapter for My Own Wings, Daughter of Darkness, or The Flower Blooms Twice released eventually and keep the new name compliant to FIMFiction's terms of service, you could name yourself whatever you want.

i suppose it would depend on just what faction ur planing on supporting/playing (if u R going to play. i get deep satisfaction from building and painting my models, despite the cost...) though i have to say, if u live for the Corpse God, u and i will have....issues....heh, HAIL CHAOS!

If by "powerful" you mean "likely to outbreed everything short of the tyranids" then sure the orks are most powerful.

Orks also have that whole "collective gestalt" thing going on, where if enough Orks believe something to be true, it is. (A couple examples for anyone unfamiliar: Ork rockets painted yellow create bigger explosions, simply because the vast majority of Orks believe they do. Also, the ever popular "da red ones go fasta," where Ork vehicles pained red actually do go faster.)

My point is, even taking their reality warping mass belief thing into account, their greatest advantage is that they are essentially sentient fungi.
And fungi tend to reproduce like RABBITS.

Seriously the only thing in Warhammer 40K that seems to reproduce faster than the Orks is the Tyranids.
Because THEY FUCKING DO.
Kill one nest, there is likely a whole FUCKING PLANETS WORTH WHERE IT CAME FROM NEARBY.

If you a fan of the Lore you will be a live long undertaking to learn everything and learning what is now canon and what was booted by GW XD, but I find it a worthy investment of time myself ^^.

Wait you’re telling me you’re a Warhammer 40k fan... and you haven’t added Princess Celestia being raised alongside the Horus by the Emperor of Mankind to the PWNY verse? Travesty! Heresy! What could reawaken the Emperor’s suppressed love for individuals more than an adorable alicorn filly? What could teach Celestia to not be a doormat for every major villain than the Warhammer 40k universe? Just imagine the sheer cuteness of gigantic power-armoured Custodes giving piggyback rides to a pink-haired alicorn! Imagine how much fewer Primarchs would turn to Chaos!
