I just watched the first two episodes of Pony Life and the show is weird and dumb. The visual style of the characters is basically some anime chibli mixed with Cal-Arts and the backgrounds look like the backgrounds from The Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog. The problem with teen titans go isn't that it has cheaper animation, or even that it's a comedy skit cartoon, it's that they literally turned the titans into horribly selfish people.
I don't see Hasbro making that mistake. They have years of dealing with fan rage whenever some character backtracked to how they were before a friendship lesson.
