So I've gone ahead and published the third-ever story I wrote for fimfiction, but never published. It's been banging around in my brain for a while, and I can't make it go away. With the heartfelt ending of MLP, I figured now was the best time possible to actually publish it.
Memorial is what happens when I think to do an "Immortal Blues" story straight. Unlike "The Last Hearth's Warming Gift", this was purely meant to be a character piece for... some other relationships on the show that I felt were worth looking into. This is most certainly not in the same continuity with my other works, and it veers into some... odd and spooky territory for some. Depends on how you read it, I suppose. Still, I felt compelled to get it all written down in light of the show's finale.
It's weird being this effected by a show and a fandom I only really joined a few months ago. Must be that magic of friendship thing everyone keeps telling me about.
Oh... and new avatar. Hope it gives everyone some good nightmares for the holiday season...
