That's how it feels, anyway. Where We Belong is off to a fantastic start, spending its first day of published life in the featured box and attracting way more attention than I expected from the outset. Maybe it's the subject matter. Maybe it's the tags. Maybe it's the fact that I haven't published anything in over a year.

When I first decided to try my hand at ponyfic, one of my self-imposed rules was to write short stories only and never attempt a pony novel or novella. I knew if I did I'd sink months or even years into that one project. Here we are, a year later. Don't expect this story to wrap up next week, is all I'm saying.

In other news, I'm frantically trying to finish an anthology for the BronyCon Bookstore. It's entirely possible that this will blow up in my face, that I'll fail to get the book ready in time, or I'll head to BronyCon with 10 copies and head home with 9 after using one to prop up a table leg.

Assuming disaster doesn't strike or at least does so mildly, these are the stories I'm looking to put into the anthology, not necessarily in this order:

Friendship 101
Apple Knots
Shell Game
Apple Boom
Sugar, Cubed
The Secrets We Keep
Forever Twilight
Cleave
Water Pony
Til Sunday Do Us Part

I plan on selling the anthology at cost, which looks like it'll work out to roughly $20.
So what do you think? If you're heading to BronyCon, is this something that'd interest you? Is there a story or stories that you'd want on that list? I promise nothing besides giving this publishing madness my best shot.

You deserve all the likes and praise. Where We Belong is dynamite with a laser beam. I hope I can write a fic like this someday. :pinkiehappy:

mrk

I might just get one.

And I'm eagerly awaiting further chapters. We've missed your horse words. Here's hoping it blows TCatM out of the water.

I can't say if I would buy the physical book, as I won't actually be at Bronycon. That is one fine collection, though.

I would definitely pick up a copy!

TCatM. Looks like my finger slipped. :derpyderp1:

I think it's because Sparity doesn't quite work canon wise but there's obviously chemistry, so AUs are very exciting. The only times it's done well are in the b plots of epics.

Also RIP Greenfire
