This is the kind of stuff I hope to see in comments but never really get much of (I would also enjoy getting more comments along the lines of: "Thank you for spending 12 hours working to entertain me again this week."). It's sort of important information for me to know so I can better entertain you going forwards.
Also people telling me this kind of stuff is how I know that I matter, have purpose, a reason to exist, etc... 
My favorite character is Gears. Just purely because the way your write her, she feels alive. More alive than most characters I’ve read about on this site. My favorite moment in Star Drop is everything! This isn’t a joke, your story is a lot better than some of the other Fanfics. Most drop a self insert character into the middle of Pips story and change it in such a way to suit themselves that it ruins the original story. Or are just plain bad. Yours is well written, the characters are balanced (well not in Speeds case but..), and the plot isn’t just drop kicked into your face. What I’m expecting to happen is the rest of Gales palls show up, or Gears puts Feature to Gales plot hole and pulls the trigger to revenge Roll. And my favorite thing you do is build on what is already there. You are very good at filling in plot holes, and making sure they never happen in the first place.
All in all, your my favorite writer on this site Meep!

While Gears does have some elements in common with me (After all, high-functioning autistic logic and robot logic have some overlap), I can agree say she's not a self insert. I wanted to avoid that at all costs... kkat deserves better than that. I want to make a good story that's a true sequel in tone, themes, and narrative. I want to see friendship continue to fix the wasteland.
I also wanted to see some elements of the
betterolder Fallout games get used in Fallout Equestria. I mean come on! The original dosn't even have an analogue to best villein! Who'se the best villein? Why it's-- ME, FRANK HORRIGAN, THAT'S WHO! UNITED STATES SECRET SERVICE! YOU AIN'T GOING NOWHERE FROM HERE.(I like how spellcheck wants to change Horrigan to horrifying :3 I mean come on! That voice :3)
Then there's also stuff like the Calculator, BOMB-1, the Midwest Botherhood... kkat's never played a Classic Fallout game. Said so in an interview. She can't wrap her head around early 90's CRPG controls and UI... To be fair, I can't hold that against her XD But, as someone with the power of Old, I played them all. I want to use them in the same way she did (with a bit better job on the mixing and melding) to make a nice new story :3

I cant write storys so I cant really comment on things, Or try not to got totally over the top. I mean, I was thinking of a vaccuum energy collapse Genesis Laser before I reached Highschool. As for what I wanted to achive eventually with the ZX spectrum in the early 80s, over years of evolution to come, the closts currently would be Dream Machine on PS4/5. Except thats not Elite classic procedural. Or PCGen filled with entire worlds of active lifeforms.

Favorite character, easily Whirling Gears. She ain't no robot, for sure! She's a pony (zebra, if you want to pick nits) in a mechanical body. This is the only story of yours I have read so far, but I'll get to the others soon enough.
Please do not feel bad when I say you are not my favorite writer. You are the newest (to me, at least) that made it to the top of the rankings. The other two I have simply known longer.

Back in my day, video games were made to tell a story and sold as a single package you were meant to enjoy for months or more. And another thing! There were genre other than shooter and shooter wearing a dead RPG's skin. We had CRPGs, RTSs, Simulators, none of these twitch-reflex fests and battle royal nonsense, and that's the way we liked it! What's more, back in my day, EA was actually **GOOD**!

So far I'd say that my favorite character is Gears, she has this kind of earnestness to her that is so compelling. In a lot of characters it might come across as naiveté, an out-of-place Pollyanna, but you've balanced Gears very well between her enthusiasm for life and love of unreasonably large explosions.
As for what I'd like to see happen, for a bit of fun I'd like to see her get to direct a fixed emplacement of summat, like a howitzer, just to show off what she can really do. Story-wise, I'd like to see her have a talk with however many people are living in her head, get some cards on tables.
On a related note, my favorite moment was definitely her finding that grenade launcher, and all subsequent bits pertaining to that. Mares love cannons.
As far as expectations go, I note that most of the mane six have made an appearance in one fashion or another. I think I know how Twilight might be given a voice, and Pinkie was so over the moon on foresight-boosting drugs that she could hold a conversation with someone reviewing her archived memories. But I really would be fascinated to see how Rarity makes an appearance.
As far as favorite stories go, just to avoid repeating myself I'll disqualify Star drop. I really like Dash to the Stars, that far-future sci-fi romp is just fun. I do very much enjoy sci-fi, though really I'll read anything so long as it's well-written. As to what I'd change, well I just wish it was a little longer. I'd have liked to see a little more of the side character's perspectives, perhaps some bits about Celestia poking her nose into ODIN.
For favorite character, the Chernin. like, the whole thing of Chernin. I loved the idea of those mech-suited slavs from the moment that a hard bass blaring taxi dropped into Equestria's atmosphere. And what I want to see more than anything else is for them to rediscover their long lost origins, and the smol ponies.
So it should come as no surprise that my favorite moment was the trip to Chern. The ponies freaking out about the storm of unstable magic, and uncle Boris just going "is fine, no worries!"

Ok, in order: My favourite character in Star Drop is probably Gears, difficult to choose though since all your characters are so good! Including the canon ones who've changed like "Wander". The thing I enjoy seeing with Gears is her mix of pony/robot/machine spirit thinking and reactions, as I said before. Not sure about what I'd like to see her do, other than herald in a new proper rebuilding of society. Particular thing... Pip and/or Tia getting a Robobrain Mark III upgrade. Maybe Wander joining Gears in Lith.
For a favourite story overall, not really sure, I'm bad at deciding that - plus most are in the same continuity, so they're all the same big story. In other words I like them all? I think my favourite genre is moreso any story with good worldbuilding, which you have quite a lotof. I think my favourite setting element is the Phoenix, and how it's a Changeling Hive. Rather epic, it's perfect the way it is. And of course I enjoy the work you do, it pretty much matches exactly the sorts of things I'm interested in :)
The particular elements I like from your stories are changelings, gratuitous cool technology, and from some of the earlier ones TFs and herminess. So more of that.

Fun fact, Pheonix is what it is because I was originally going to do a fanfic of Legacy where a bunch of Changebugs found yet another burred Bolo and were all " D; Nuuuu! Hurt machine!" and fixed it up because that's what changelings do. Steal love and fix/build advanced technology. (There would have been a scene where Twilight passes out from a Changebug stealth feeding on her, then woke up to find an apologize note and a mini particle accelerator as an apology. The accelerator woudl have been made by scrapping random things from her house.)

I'm gonna go with Wander, because in spite of Gears' "clueless rube from the sticks" charm pushing all the traditional farmboy/girl-to-hero trope buttons, just the idea of an eternal music pone wandering the wasteland trying to help here and there to make up for their mistakes--and secretly being a hero and inspiration to the ruler of an entire faction!--is just epic.

You know, I too recall a time when EA wasn't a synonym for money-gouging shitshow. A time when EA's product was so damned good, that you could play a game from a genre that you otherwise didn't even like, and have fun with it; I played EA's NCAA and Madden combo for a couple of years and I can't stand football. I have the same issue with The Queen is Dead, the world was distracting from the interesting story, and characters.
