Anyone know artists who do illistrations for stories? · 10:26am Mar 23rd, 2022
I'm low key working on a story which I intend to complete before posting. I'm enjoying being able to go back and improve, tweak, and change things to make the best possible version of the story, and it's nice to not feel like I am bound to a strict schedule of uploads.
Since I am taking my time, I realized it's possible to do more than cover art for the story in question. The problem is I am not a very good artist and can only do one style (FiM's). I knew of one artist who would be willing to do a longer project and could do the art style I want for this project but, uh, well... She's Russian. So that's not gonna happen any time soon. I literally couldn't pay her if she was still accepting work, which she is not. because, well, there's no way for her to get paid other than sending cash through the mail. Which is a very stupid thing to do in Russia.
So here I am, talking about a story I'm working on on the down-low in hopes of you guys knowing an artist who does stuff like those older Fallout Equestria illustrations from the older printed versions. Like this:
If you know someone who does those, is looking for work, willing to do a long term project of like... IDK, 30 to 40 images (mabey more) over a few months (or maybe more, no rush, long as they get done), and most importantly, is cheep to hire (or willing to do discounted work since there's a lot of work they will be getting OR willing to give me a discount as I am disabled and on disability income only), please direct them to me.

not directly, but goldfur (author of the cogsverse and chakat series of stories) gets art of there stories done frequently so they might know a few if you care to ask them
