(We got a plastic creche until Trixie learns not to throw baby Jesus. It didn't come with an angel, so we got somepony to fill in.)
Merry Christmas and Happy Hearth's Warming!
I am sooo busy right now, but a few things of note:
Sun and Hearth is almost done. four of the last five chapters are in some stage of prereading, and the final chapter is over halfway done.
Trixie is doing great, she's still using her speech device, but she's using it more and more every day. (Especially to ask for things. She's just learned "please" and got herself a pony toy the other day because she figured out how to say to say "Fluttershy Applejack please, Mommy" in Walmart.)
She'll be going to school every day after the new year. It's only a half day (pre-K) but even with dropping her off and picking her up I will have an hour and a half every weekday! A whole hour and a half!
While I have enough housework to fill that time for about a year, it will probably give me more time for writing things, including (I hope) blog posts and stories which I will share with you guys.
In the meantime, enjoy your holidays, and have some cute pictures of my kid:

Heh, that reminds me. Couple of my friends have a kid that just turned two. I gave her the first three seasons of FiM. That was yesterday.
Her dad texted me today to let me know that she’s already started to ask to watch ponies and is singing the theme song.

God yeah. I actively try to get her into other things, but the only thing that's been moderately successful is Trolls, and I'm not sure she doesn't think that Princess Poppy is another version of Pinkie Pie the same way EqG Pinkie is.

My family has a creche scene made up of Gund handpuppets and fuzzies that my parents got us kids when we were very little. Yes, they last that long.
