So, first off, I’ve got to give a couple of signal boosts.
Celefin wrote a sequel to Track Switch - Frankfurt Calling (which y’all should read) called Track Switch - Steel Dreams. I think you’ll like it.
Second, ROBCakeran53, who you might know from The Whittler* (which just updated, yo) has also published a new story titled Awesome Police Do Equestria.
While I haven’t read that yet--even though he gave me early access (sorry, Rob 
)--it has Sgt. Reckless in it.
Now, I know some of y’all are asking who Sgt. Reckless is, and I’ll tell you. She was a Marine in the Korean War. She was awarded with multiple medals, including two Purple Hearts along with two Presidential Unit Citations for valor in battle. She was field-promoted to Sergeant, and after leaving the battlefield, she got one more promotion to Staff Sergeant before her retirement.

IRL, oh boy, there’s a doozy of a mechanic blog post coming. We’re gonna talk a bit about comebacks, and how my manager dealt with a Chevy Cruze that had cooling system problems. His solution was effective, I’ll admit that. Not what I would have done, but it’s hard to argue with success. . . .
Anyway, another kind of short one. I think I was planning on doing more tonight but then I accidentally started watching election night coverage, and, well. . . .
The only sensible thing to do is go to bed early tonight.

I hope that is Mr Cake's car, because I doubt he's qualified for automotive repair of that scale. I can totally see Bon Bon having those skills though. Secret Agents pick up all sorts of things during their career.

I don’t know who Bill the Bastard was (for shame, I’m sure). But I do know that there’s plenty of fertile ground for Reckless fics, and if I didn’t have so many projects currently running, I’d very much consider doing a Reckless fic.

I decided that overall some good things happened in the elections and some bad things and if nothing else, Michigan passed a recreational marijuana bill which means that anyone over 21 will be able to legally watch the 2020 elections drunk or stoned or both as the situation requires.

Maybe he’s just there to lend moral support, or maybe they’re replacing the original engine with a marzipan engine. But yeah, I don’t see him having overly much mechanical aptitude (although he could surprise me). Bon Bon, yeah, she probably knows a thing or two about automotive repair that she’s picked up here or there, maybe to help her blend in with a particular assignment.
What if her true skill isn’t even making confectioneries, and that’s just another cover?

Also, I think the pic was likely made by someone in Taiwan. Chinese in mainland normally don't speak like that, not to mention the traditional characters.
