Friendship is Card Games: Trixie and the Razzle-Dazzle Ruse

We return to the pony novels this week, and hopefully a better showing from the titular mare. Last time we saw Trixie in one of these, G. M. Berrow was channeling the fandom circa 2011 and making her and Gilda the designated antagonists of the piece. Let’s see what she’s up to this time.

Friendship is Card Games: Kenbucky Roller Derby #2 & #3

We return to the cutthroat world of G5 roller derby, where Sunny’s trying her darndest to prove she’s more than just a casual skater… and has assembled one of the most ragtag teams of misfits this side of the Mighty Ducks in the process. Let’s see how the story’s developed from there.

    Swan Song

No, not mine. The Barcast's. The last call is currently under way, and if you want to hear my part in the grand interview lightning round, you can tune in at 4:20 Eastern/1:20 Pacific (about an hour from this posting.)

Yes, 4:20 on 4/20. No, I do not partake. Sorry to disappoint. :derpytongue2:

    Pest List

Just something I whipped together for fun one day, set to a possibly recognizable tune, all intended in good fun. And hey, given that I derived my Fimfic handle from a misremembered detail of the Mikado, it's only appropriate. :derpytongue2:

Attention to all potential participants in the Villain Exchange Program: We're past the halfway point. And the current tally for entries is... one.

To be fair, the extension on Sunset Shipping: Journeys probably threw things off for some people, but I just wanted to remind everyone that this contest is, in fact, a thing. Make sure your story is submitted to the contest group before 11:59 PM EST on October 10th! If your story's still in the submission queue, let us know in the forum. (And provide a screencap. It's not that I don't trust you. I just don't trust you. :raritywink:)

And on the subject of "us," my apologies to all prospective judging volunteers for dragging my feet on getting back to you. I've had more on my plate than normal lately, but that's no excuse. Sadly, I'm going to have to delay it a touch more, but I'll get back to you tomorrow.

Okay, that's enough self-castigation for now. Good luck to all participants, and thanks in advance!

I have an idea plotted out, but finding the impetus has been difficult. I'm going to try my best thougj!

Not to worry, I've been plugging away at a fanfic that could reach the hard 20K word limit. I've written 8K words so far, so I'm a little behind the halfway point, but if I pull an all-nighter right before the deadline, I'm confident that I can finish. I could upload Act I today if I really wanted, but I want to get everything as close to perfect as possible before I publish everything.

I had completely forgotten about the contest until this blogpost.

OMG my dude, this completely slipped my mind in the hazy aftermath of the Sunset Shipping dealie-o. The sad and ironic thing for me is that my Sunset Shipping story might actually have been a better fit for this contest than that one, but sometimes them's the breaks.

I'll see what can be done. :rainbowdetermined2:

I feel blindsided and also a little bad, because I don't remember seeing this mentioned before. ._.;

Slap a fake mustache on it and re-submit :trixieshiftright:

Fear not, I'm at a whopping 1k words, that's like almost there.

*rubs hands together manically*

My problem is:

I did my take on this three years ago. And I'm also in the middle of three other stories, two of which also have October deadlines... :twilightblush:
