It's been five years since I began writing Dan Vs. The Magic of Friendship. In five years, I've updated it every Saturday with a minimum of a thousand words of Dantastic content. I decided to do this to give my own writing a measure of stability and to provide it to you, my fans and followers and anyone else with love for ponies and Dan and hilarity in their hearts. As I have said before, this story is for all of you and you are welcome to add your characters and headcanons to it. No idea, no character, no suggestion, no fan shall be ever left out of this franchise if they truly love it and want a part of it. There is a place here for all who want one, including you.
It's somewhat ironic that the stability I strive to deliver is consistently unstable content. Insanity, hilarity, wackiness, craziness, that's the bread and butter of this story and you guys have eaten up like... well, bread and butter. With that in mind, I'm very happy and excited to announce the next leap of insani-hilarity to add to this story! The very next opponent for Dan to Vs.:
Adolf Hitler! Yes, after being accused of and accusing other people of being Nazis and fascists for so long, Dan and friends are now going to fight history's most notorious fascist of them all- Adolf Hitler himself. As a pony! But exactly how are we going to get this heinous mass-murdering psychopath into Equestria? Never fear, for where there is a will, there is indeed a way:
The most hated figure in history. From a troubled Austrian youth to a tyrant that nearly led the world to ruin, Adolf Hitler rose to power in Germany to become the Fuhrer of the Third Reich and the Nazi Party. As the leader of a nation, a racial ideology and a national political movement, Hitler and his senior staff were responsible for some of the most horrible atrocities ever committed on and by mankind. The Holocaust, the attempted genocide of Jews, gypsies, the disabled and many other non-Aryan groups is still considered one of the most heinous crimes in history. Millions of lives, entire communities were devastated by this horrific crime, a scar upon the world that even today can be felt.
And now he's coming to Equestria! Even as he rose as a speaker for the Nazis in the early 1930s, Hitler was never the most stable of individuals. He rambled, he ranted, he was treated like a king in jail and wrote a racist book that people thought was bland if they even read it at all. But slowly, people began to support the Nazi movement until millions were enthralled and blamed the Jews for everything and thought they were shapeshifters that could transform into rats. Fun! And very, very disturbing. As Hitler continued and conquered parts of Europe, he would become increasingly unstable and would rely on a cocktail of medicine including crystal meth and cocaine just to function. Many of his mistakes cost the Nazis men and resources and ultimately helped the Allies to win the war.
Little known facts about Ady(Pinkie calls him Ady)- He was a vegetarian, he farted a lot and he hated racism. Yeah, one of the biggest racists the world has ever known actually hated racism... makes you think. He also didn't have very many friends and survived over 40 assassination attempts. So he's perfect for inclusion into Equestria. But exactly what is he going to be doing there?
How he got there is, of course, through summoning. But who summoned him remains a mystery. Who would? Vice Grip wouldn't, probably because he wouldn't want the competition. Twilight of course wouldn't, summoning murderers and dictators wouldn't be helpful to Equestria at all, so that leaves the Director... or does it? At any rate, just as with Wedge and Zen Zeal, Hitler is going to be a pony. Equestria sometimes changes the form of those that enter it to better adapt them to the world of ponies. It can be a gift and for others, it is a punishment. Either way, it is meant to magically help them acclimate to their surroundings. But it's clear that it has its limits- it only changes their physical being, not their minds.
So what are Hitler's goals in Equestria? Well, one of those goals is the most diabolical one of all. Probably one of the greatest threats to Equestria Dan and friends have ever faced, a threat to their very way of life- Hitler is after their cake. All of it.
Hitler loved cake. As a pony with the mind of a deranged dictator, Hitler is going to attempt to seize ALL the cake in Equestria. Every last piece, until ponies are left with not but crumbs and empty plates, agonizing the lost of sweet confection with hooves raised to the sky asking, "WHY?????!!!!!"
Or possibly just Pinkie.

You've picked quite a time to join this crazy ride. 5 years I been doin' this. Have to give the people something so... I'm giving them Hitler now. This is where the insanity has led us. When I started, I didn't want to have ANY OCs and I wanted it to be kind-of a cute adventure story.
I realized quickly... I can't keep that up. Not while updating every week, not me alone.
So I needed to add more stuff and it began with Vice Grip. Now, we're at Hitler. In five years, we've gone from one original pony character to Hitler.
