Well, the experiment seems to be a dud. I haven't been able to generate much interest and the timing is such that even though I'm not on the front page, updates will not show up in the updated stories list.
Common carnival fare?! Why, I oughta...
I'm probably going to take Open Connection offline soon. It was a nice run though, and I appreciate the interest y'all showed me.

Sorry to hear it didn't pan out. I hope you post something about where you were going with it. At the very least, the line about the abandoned Castle of Friendship was very intriguing indeed.
Hmm, maybe roleplay it with some friends or something and post the results as a story?
I have never been featured nor do I expect to, but I write because I want to tell the stories I do. If people read the and like them, YAY!

That sounds an excellent idea to me. Years ago, when I was mildly obsessed with "World Tree", I got to play a session with Bard Bloom at Morphicon, which subsequently became a journal entry in "Sythyry's Vacation". It worked very well.
RP isn't quite the broad-based feedback process that you had in mind, but it does take absolute control of the story away from you, which is what I'm guessing you're after.
