Sorry, I know I just posted a blog, but I'm HYPED for the new smash (Snake, Daisy, Inkling, AND Ridley?! Holy shit it's like Sakurai read my mind! 
)
...so I figured I'd do what EVERYBODY is doing and post my character roster wish list.
Now to be fair, a lot of them have already been debunked as assist trophies. I'm basically just copy/pasting this from an old list I wrote up (Ridley, Daisy, and Inkling were all on the list but I deleted them now that they're revealed). Maybe those assist trophies will show up in a hypothetical Smash 6 someday? I can dream.
Anyway, those that have already been debunked I'll be putting a strikethrough on.
Anyway, obviously most, if not all, of these characters won't show up. Sakurai already established that in their efforts to make it so that everybody from previous smash games could return, they had to seriously scale down the number of newcomers. That said, I hope maybe a few more from this list manage to get in. I'm hoping that "not many" newcomers means, like, ten or so? Not a lot, but more than just the already established three.
...I mean, come on. I can dream, right?

Personally I wanna see Geno and Shantae in it. Heck even Bass.EXE or NiGHTS would be interesting.
I would love to see Amaterasu from Okami, as the Wii version of the game is one of my all time favourites.
Speaking of Capcom, it seems unlikely, but I'd love to see Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Albert Wesker, or other characters from the Resident Evil series, since many of the games are available on Nintendo consoles. I know it would probably never happen though (but a man can dream).
What about Shadow or Silver the Hedgehog?
I totally agree with Kamek, Ashley, Bandana Dee,
Krystal, Shantae and Phoenix Wright. Also wishing for Elma from Xenoblade Chronicles X, Travis from No More Heroes and Terra from Final Fantasy 6.And I can't believe you actually predicted Daisy in Smash. Especially because your portrayal of her makes me like her so much in the first place.
Honestly, I could see Maxwell's notebook as an item akin to Assist Trophies and Pokéballs, creating one of any number of items in the Scibblenauts aesthetic. Including Cthulhu as one of the high rolls.
And if we can get Bayonetta, I see no reason why we can't get Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes.
My biggest question now is if the codec conversions are bach.

Also, why is Midna striked out? I haven't seen any definite no on her yet.
