Would You Rather... · 2:48pm Mar 8th, 2018
So, I've been a bit torn lately, and would like to know what you guys want. Here's the deal: In the last couple of weeks, I haven't been able to get any writing done whatsoever, which means I haven't even gotten through the first scene in chapter 6 yet. But some life changes are coming up that will free me up for a lot of writing time. But another but, I think chapter 6 is going to take me a while to write (especially the second portion).
Now, if you hadn't noticed, I posted chapter 3 last night, and I have already decided to break my own rule and post chapter 4 as soon as I fix up a couple scenes (expect it in about 2 weeks or so), but I'm expecting quite a long delay of the story after that. So here's my question to you all: Would you like to get chapter 5 shortly after 4 and then have a long wait for 6? I kinda want to do this because I'm very excited to get chapter 5 to you guys as it's my favorite chapter so far, but it ends on quite a cliffhanger, and I'm not too crazy about giving you a cliffhanger and then leaving you dangling for months.
So would you rather get chapter 5 shortly after 4 and dangle off a cliff for a few months, or stop at 4 and wait until I can start regularly updating to get 5? I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd let me know in the comments, and I'll go with whatever the majority of you say. Thanks, and I'll catch you all in a couple of weeks!
Pre reading for it and loving the premise you know I’ll eagerly await future ch no matter how long the wait. I know that’s not very helpful an answer. There a middle ground you could shoot for?
Hm, cliffhangers are tricky. I recommend trying to find some type of middle ground. Maybe post chapter four a few weeks (2-4 weeks to be exact) before chapter five.

I think you misunderstand. Chapter 5 is the cliffhanger, not chapter 4. And yes, I can release chapter 5 a few weeks before 6, but I don't know how long it'll take me to get 6 done.

Ohh, okay that makes more sense. Then, how about releasing each chapter three weeks after one another? That should give you some time to complete chapter six.
